Just rewatched all 6 movies and I am convinced that 3, Resurrection and Prometheus are all better. I can't believe it's directed by Ridley Scott who directed the original. Reminds me of Geogre Lucas and the prequels. Did Scott just happen to make the original by accident or did somebody else intervene and change it against his protest? Covenant was both a failed Promethesus sequel that failed to answer any of the questions in that film and an awful attempt at an Alien movie, total waste of time.

Prometheus was washy, but still visually enjoyable. Plus who didn't enjoy Michael Fassbender?

Covenant sort of corrects it all. And makes the character of David even more interesting.

Chalk it up to guilty pleasure, or what have you I don't care. I still love the film. Anyone else feel the same?

Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world — whose sole inhabitant is the "synthetic" David, survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.
