That singing sound might be something the Shaw hologram says, but is just distorted, same way the hologram is??

I put it on another thread so sorry for the repeat, but at 26 seconds it looks like the back of Shaw's head and a spike or tube shoots out her back.

I'd say nay. just holo interefences. 

Even more interesting and plausible; Is she triggering the event or weapon that zapped the engies? The lightbeam spreading in the circle looks and behaves like a visible blast wave.

Was the sound she made an expression of relieve or satisfaction?

Honestly, with all the teasers and stuff, I'm feeling like a cat fishing around under a locked door with a paw to FIND OUT MOAR!! :D

It DOES seem to be some kind of Major activation as that 'wave' effect wasn't seen in Prometheus, so some major aspect of the ship was triggered I'd say.

You can actually hear a female voice singing along to the song at the 0.17 mark and then get destorted at 0.19/20. It then comes back at 0.25. for a moment.

I'm not sure about it showing Shaw dying, however these two side shots show a humanoid face

I think you can make out a jaw / teeth in the second shot

Its very distorted due to the hologram, but so too is the humanoid face

I think maybe David has carried out his work on Shaw?

However if you zoom in on the control panel there is a red herring button with Riddleypoops finger on it!

My theory's on how it could go with Shaw

1. We just get dog tags and holograms and some breadcrumbs for the next reversed installment.

2. She is still infected from her trib birth and has black goo in her system. David does try to save her life by experimenting on her, resulting in a Shawmorph

3. David intentionally infects Shaw, turning her into something unsavoury that the late Giger would be proud of

4. Bit of Fun, she becomes like Igor and flys the ship for David, whilst he is outside quoting Lawrence of Arabia whilst bombing folk

I'm wondering now why was she humming that song?  Is that her setting coordinance to paradise or was she trying to leave paradise?

Its hard to make out the sounds...

First it seems like a female humming to the "Take me home Song" but when you listen to it over and over, it seems to just be a muffled version of the track.

As for the scream i dont hear anything, i do hear a moan, but this could just be a capture of one slight moment of muffled singing.

Certainly has to be Shaw, the only other Explanation is a PREDATOR  because i had it set on repeat from 17.5 to 18.6 Second mark and you make out Predator Dreads for Sure..

LOL which means its long hair and so i would safely assume this is Shaw.

My head is swimming... Regarding David's voice over (Spoiler?)...

What if these are not David's thoughts at all, but is reading something that Shaw wrote. What if *SHE* is responsible for the bombing and is then killed and crashes the Juggernaut before she has the chance to do anything else - She's obviously humming that song for a reason - Take me Home!

That is a very interesting sequence. Whatever "it" is in that chair, looks distorted, and not just by hologram artifact. Very eerie.

I'm watching this on an airplane so I can't hear any humming.  If she is humming Country Roads maybe she is wanting to get the hell out of there.  But I still think she has been dead for awhile at this point

and frankly, I have yet to see Shaw.  That fuzzy mess at the controls could be me for all we know
