I mean, they "could" potentially pivot and get the show back on track and more on-brand... but I have a sneaking suspension that won't happen.

Obviously whether it's good or not is completely subjective, but I do think it deserves a bit more credit, compared to what we've had since lol... I'd rewatch Prometheus over the entire season of Alien Earth any day of the week 😂

I honestly thought the next alien movie would be a prequel/sequel to Covenant. I was really disappointed in Romulus as it was more of the same without being invested.  I’m tired of people trying to re-imagine original films.  After two movies worth of prequels,  I really wanted to see what happened after David got on the colonizing ship. 

I enjoyed season 1 can’t wait for season 2!

I'm hoping S2 rectifies some of S1's shortcomings and the Xenomorphs turn on the Lost Boys.

I’d take the Romulus all day everyday over Alien: Earth.I’m partial to the films in the pathogen trilogy (Prometheus, Covenant, & Romulus). ​Earth ignores film canon. It’s just a Noah Hawley weirdo ego perv experiment.Predator should have had the live action series, especially if this was going to be the road for Alien. 

The level of cringe was damn near stroke inducing. I had to mute it. Glad I watched this show via alternative means. Didn’t score any minutes streamed from me.

Something is off with anyone who likes AE. The boy prodigy Quentin Tarantino feet shots, little kids being forced to be seen as adults, and pregnant child themes. Yeah Alien goes dam but anyone can see that is not what this was. Noah Hawley is a pervert.

​​Really? I'm surprised but I guess everyone interprets opinions differently. Ultimately opinions won't offend us if ours isn't attached to our identity. This is very common among most people though. If everyone thought the same and felt the same about everything forums wouldn't exist or they'd be painfully boring.

Debate is good, differing of opinions is healthy. I'm sure there are plenty of members over there that share your opinion, they might just not be as vocal about it. Either way, don't ever feel discouraged to share yours!

I thought it was pretty good. Having something to watch every week in the Alien Universe made me something to look forward to. . It could have been better but some of us are picky bitches.

How can anybody believe a 5 foot ersatz “Blossom” as a Ripley? Some of the cast was quite good but the corny, “sweet tits” /“sugar Dick” dialogue was cringeworthy..

What most Alien devotees want his David Arc, and his battle with the engineers… who are no doubt PISSED!

I think this would be the ultimate opportunity to really tie up so many loose ends and ask so many new questions… I think the weight of the situation makes it impossible to not fulfill the destiny of this epic franchise …. “In Space… no one can hear you scream.”

Yeah, I watched Welcome to Derry as well and it was a MUCH better horror series, should have won this. Feels like there aren't many unbiased award ceremonies anymore lol. They're all bought and paid for cause audience sentiment does not seem to agree.
