Anyone Else Just Not Give a Rip About Blomkamp's Alien 5?

After watching ALIENS, ALIEN 3, ALIEN RESURRECTION and a bunch of AVPs (Yep, I did that)... Seriously, ALIEN 5 would just be more of the same, nothing against Blomkamp or any other director - BUT James Cameron, who I think should stick to his Avatar (2, 3, 4) or whatever.

If it ever comes out, I'll watch it. If it doesn't, I won't even notice.

What I really care about is Sir Ridley's work on what he wonderfully started.

I'm glad they're not making A5. Blomkamp's apparently a one-trick pony. I liked District 9 enough, but that's it. Besides, it sounded like A5 was going to be a passing-of-the-flame story, focusing on Newt, last I heard. Considering Newt is an extremely annoying character (and just one of the many things ALIENS did wrong), I had no interest in the proposed A5 film, and do not lament its premature death.

Maybe Blade Runner 2049 will bring the two universes together...
