MemberFacehuggerDec-13-2016 3:41 PMSo I had read somewhere that very earl you concepts for Prometheus had the team of explorers going to Xenomorph Prime, the "homeworld" of the Aliens. This was obviously scrapped, however I was wondering what you guys thought of this idea being used in a later pre-sequel.

MemberDeaconDec-13-2016 7:44 PMI dont think that was the case....
Well as far as when they was trying to make a Alien Prequel that lead to Prometheus.
But it was something Ridley and Cameron was touching upon when they was thinking of ideas for a Alien Prequel... but Fox decided to go for a AVP movie instead.
I think it was between 1998-2000 when they had the ideas as you put in your post but it was abandoned.

MemberDeaconDec-13-2016 7:49 PMIf i am thinking right, it was to be more of a Alien Prequel, that would connect the Xeno and Space Jockey and actually go to where the Xeno came from and not the Space Jockey... but it was to also answer why the Space Jockey had the Cargo.
I think it may have been trying to go back to the Star Beast Roots... where it may have shown the Space Jockey had came across the Xeno from some place... Maybe Reverse Engineered it to provide their Bio-Tech.
It would be interesting if they loosely tease this in AC... but even if they did... i dont think they would flat out show us a Alien Xeno World...because they would want to retain some Mystery.

StaffNeomorphDec-14-2016 9:24 AMAs Dave said, the xenomorph prime was something Ridley and Cameron were discussing about while developing ideas for alien 5 but fox decided to go with AVP.During the development of AVPR they were considering to show a xenomorph prime along with the yautja prime but that never happened.
This was the concept artwork of it
But things eventually changed as the time went on.
Fans have envisioned the SJ/Xeno homeworld to look something like THIS.

When David discovered
The orery in the in the

In Spaihts alien
Engineer. Don't know
About the Spaihts draft
After that one.
David was able to
Determine that the
Engineer homeworld
Was in Sagirarius's arm.

MemberXenomorphDec-15-2016 2:53 PMI am not aware of
Them going to
Alien homeworld
But in alien engineers
(Spaihts 4th draft)
It was divulged that the
Caves LV 426 octopoid
Yo yo facehugers
That lived in the caves
LV 426. One of them
Facehugged Holloway
And a see through
Almost gelatine
Creature came out of
Him.
The engineers created
Weaponised versions
Of these octopoid
Yo yo facehuggers
That had hard parts.
This gave birth to the
Classic xenomorph..
This was on LV 426 so
You could think of it as their homeworld but
I prefer to call it their
Place of origin as they
Are not a natural
Occurring species.

Sagirarius's arm is vague clue though as well its like saying yeah the hidden base is in Europe lol
The Source claimed in March April 2015 Paradise was about 600LY (or Parsecs?) and located IN (or around by) the constellation of Ophiuchus again i cant say if thats true... but on a Galactic note thats like narrowing it down to saying its in UK

MemberDeaconDec-15-2016 3:31 PM@Dark Nebula...
Great photo never seen it before...... maybe the Cabbage patch theory could be true...
Looks like as if some World has had something infected it, like a Fungi/Moss thats turned the landscape into a Giger Horror that sprouts Eggs from the Ground.... (not Laid, or Egg Morphed) but grown like Cabbage Patch or Pumpkin ;)
PS....
That Scorn looks Epic...
Kind of like a more Organic than Bio-Mechanical description of the stuff the Source mentioned that i out on here in March 2015.... have check my old posts out...
This game is clearly Alien/Giger influenced especially since Prometheus Black Goo idea and how Fire and Stone Evolved it.

MemberDeaconDec-15-2016 3:34 PMScorn seems to run away with the Warhammer 40K Tyranid look to it... which was influenced off Alien and HR Giger...
Scorn is clearly inspired by Giger though, love the nod to Gigers Chicken Chest Buster that was on the floor ;)
Looks amazing its like a Alien Isolation Prequel or Sequel off to the world where the Engineers got the DNA ;)

MemberDeaconDec-15-2016 3:45 PMThis video came up next
Again Giger Inspired less Bio-Mechanical but its got a lot of similar things of his work... a real interpretation of HELL, Or Pandemonium.
Looks awesome too.. If this was what happened to Shaw, and the next movie they explore what happens to Paradise after Alien Covenant and the World Evolves to like that Scorn Game.
Then wow.... Ridley take my Money now ;)
I think the other game AGONY is hinting at Sin as in Satans Daughter, (Source hinted at in P2) and another female too in that game... what if this was Shaw or similar..
WOW..

StaffNeomorphDec-16-2016 10:20 AMIm glad you like the game Dave :)
Yes,the developers did say the game was inspired by Giger and other artists.
“And yes it’s inspired by artwork of Beksinski, Giger and others but we tried to make it our own style. experience.“
There's nothing yet official about the game but I heard something about the plot that the Aliens are kidnapping humans, taking them to their homeworld and turning them into those monstrosities for war.And when you the player wake up you'll have to explore many different regions of the world of scorn, and defend yourself from other threats.
There's another simmilar game based on the works of 3D artist Tomasz Strzalkowski that I mentioned on some topic many months ago.
Scorn,agony,inner chains.What a time to be alive.

MemberOvomorphDec-19-2016 6:57 PMSpeaking of games, do you think we'll get an Alien: Isolation reference somewhere in Alien: Covenant? Like one of the crew could mention Seegson competing with Weyland-Yutani or the crew could mention how Seegson looked promising until recently.

MemberDeaconDec-19-2016 7:23 PMMaybe as far as the Synthetics? maybe in regards to why Walter is so advanced? who knows.
