Water And Eggs
ninXeno426
MemberPraetorianMar-06-2017 7:15 PMAlright,I got another crazy water theory. In the picture here we see a nest of eggs as well as running water. Not to mention stalagmites, and stalagtites, both of which are the results of running water.Previously I proposed a theory on how black goo contaminated water could be the source of the engineer extinction on "Paradise",but could it have also grown the eggs pictured here?It would be a pretty interesting concept, black goo water drips long enough to grow eggs, could also be a possible explanation behind their different look.I know it's kinda weird, and ultimately unlikely, but what do you guys think?

MemberTrilobiteMar-06-2017 7:19 PMNot a bad idea. Maybe something naturally in the water is there too and combines with the goo to form a face hugger? My only thing is I would expect the stalagmite/tite to be closer to the egg depending on how high the ceiling is?

MemberFacehuggerMar-06-2017 7:26 PMGood theory ninXeno, if there is organic matter on the floor of that cave eg; just like the worms in prometheus the black goo mutates and morphs that organic matter the end result could be what we see there the egg.
Or what would be more macabre is bodies of engineers placed apart under the dripping infected water, every drip drip drip, morphs the dead engineers into eggs.

MemberFacehuggerMar-06-2017 7:41 PM@dk that would be absolutely mad! island of dr moreau type stuff.

MemberPraetorianMar-06-2017 7:41 PMThat's precisely what i was thinking with the hammerpedes.I've been to a cave before and I know once you touch something,it stops growing thanks to the oils in your skin, perhaps some one has touched the stalagmites/tites and that has stopped their growth.

MemberTrilobiteMar-06-2017 8:02 PMOr there could be micro crustacean creatures in the water that develop into face huggers as well?
ninXeno426
MemberPraetorianMar-06-2017 8:20 PMThe eggs are indeed the real kicker, bicker yes some small microorganisms would be very possible.

MemberTrilobiteMar-06-2017 9:02 PMThese ideas are killer but unfortunately I doubt it will play out like this. I honestly hope I am wrong though.

MemberPraetorianMar-06-2017 9:21 PMIt would b damn cool if it did.A very creepy new element to the Alien universe

MemberFacehuggerMar-07-2017 6:02 AMI think it very interesting theory. I think there is no limit to how the black goo can evolve using what ever it gets in contact with that is organic. Also your theory could fit in well with the fact more movies will be made and one of the main themes is the xeno's different stages of evolution.

MemberChestbursterMar-07-2017 6:15 AMYour theory is neither crazy nor weird nin, it's actually a very good theory I can definitely buy into of it turned out be the official explanation (and it may be...)

MemberPraetorianMar-07-2017 1:24 PMThank you guys! The more i look around, the more i believe the water has some to do with what has happened to Paradise.Maybe not absolutely everything, but some of it atleast

MemberPraetorianMar-09-2017 9:47 PMninXeno426, the room the eggs are in looks like the inside of a large rib cage. Has anyone else mentioned this?
ninXeno426
MemberPraetorianMar-09-2017 10:01 PMNot certain Ingeneiro,but i do believe it's the juggernaut

MemberPraetorianMar-10-2017 6:09 AMOh yes, ninXeno426, it most likely a juggernaut because just about every shot we see of an Engineer built hallway has a "spine" running down the center of the ceiling and ribs on the walls (general shapes). And of course, the very apparent texture of Engineer construction on the surface of everything.
This room has the same basic shapes but without the texture we are used to seeing on juggernaut surfaces.
I didn't think they were in a whale, I promise, but the texture of the surface of the walls and ceiling of this room are different from the juggernaut. This may be a temple room shot.

MemberPraetorianMar-10-2017 2:26 PMLOL I agree Ingeneiro.Since it is indeed the juggernaut,I think it's very curious that it's growing stalagmites/tites

MemberDeaconMar-10-2017 4:35 PMNice theory.... indeed the water can cause other organisms like Algae, the Juggernaught does seem to had crashed near a source of Water as we see in the new Trailer they was exploring a area with water.
Hard to tell if this is the correct order they happen, but i find it more than a Coincidence they explore up a hill with Trees that have been cut in half or so... well more than that.
But at the top of this area is a Juggernaught so its logical they maybe then go over a little hill just before where the Ship has crashed and down and enter the Top of the image posted, we see there is evidence of what was once smaller trees and then running water as if this area was once a hill that had Water Running down it, and we see in this first shot what appears to be Engineer Juggernaught style Tunnels...
However the Juggernaught does not have these kinds of entrances on the outside and so the ship must have crashed onto the mountain and it (mountain) smashed through the hull
Alternatively could it be a Engineer Ancient Outpost/Building but i think its to coincidental of this shot
Now back to the first image, and middle part is exactly the same corridor we saw in the Juggernaught with the Space Jockey Suits and in this shot we can see there is Water Dripping from the Ceiling
The last part of that image we have where Daniels discovers Shaws Dog Tag, in what looks a more overgrown with Vegetation and Algae and again there is a lot of Water Dripping down
This next shot is from the 1st Trailer, where it appears they head down into the area that leads to the Pilot Chamber but again we cant tell what order these scenes are... but certainly looks part of a partially buried Juggernaught
Again we see Algae and Moss etc and so with the Ship that seems to have crashed there is potential as water is getting in and dripping down from the ceiling spaces above various parts of the Ship for Plantlife, Algae, Moss and so even other micro organisms and such to be thriving on those surfaces.
And we all know what Black Goo + Organic Material Does.

MemberDeaconMar-10-2017 4:50 PMBut as far as the Egg Cave/Chamber being under the Ship or Part of it?
Maybe under it... but i am not sure about part of it..
I have duplicated the shots so you can compare so that the A does not obscure what i am trying to point out, if you look at A on both shots it seems to be the same area of that Room, and it looks very much carved from Rock or Constructed from Stone or similar, like this is some Tomb or Catacomb
The Straight Cut Angles with the Arch of A just reminds me to much like this
Unless it is part of the Ship, but the stalagmites, and stalagtites in this area have advanced so far that it has like covered all the walls and like Calcified them?
This area however does seem to prove it also had water dripping into it, only it appears the length of time needed to change the interior of the Juggernauts Walls to look like this i would assume would take a lot longer than 10 years
The other shots though in previous thread that are overgrown with Vegetation and Moss etc.. would seem to indicate the ship has crashed for a Long time, certainly at least 5 years we can assume... maybe potentially since the day it arrived on Paradise?

MemberDeaconMar-10-2017 4:55 PMBut indeed where there is Water, there is a great chance of Life, depending on.
*Toxicity of Water (any infections, pollution or radiation)
*Temperature of the Water (however we see no signs of Boiling or Freezing Water.
So indeed Life could be in the water or at very least areas it has gathered in puddles, and indeed with Algae and Moss and other Plant-life that thrives near water and wet environments, then the chances of Micro Organic Life is Good.
So indeed there is chance that any infected Water, could infect Plant-life and Organic Life it comes into contact with and for sure this could lead to something Evolving...
