LV-223 Engineer Hangar Door and Alien – Covenant Paradise City Circus Hangar Door Look to Have the Same Technology

They seem to very like this design, if i remember correctly they use the same one in Prometheus when the Space Jockey chair is coming out.

I was thinking that the Paradise door was different at first, but looking at it again I'd say You're right.

I don't know if it is farfetched, but could it be that the people on Paradise aquired technology from the Engineers? I was thinking about the 15 minute screening some weeks back where they said that some kind of dockingstation rose up from within? A kind of landingground for their "gods"?(Engineers)

@parkerparrot I'd say you're right on. Those Paradise city folk are definitely "sub-Engineer" whatever that means. I suppose they would have had to have been seeded by the ones above them. And the Engy's of course have a "God" race above them. How far does it go? Hmm....

Never spotted that before, mainly because it was never in none of the Trailers, well these images are very interesting and i wonder if there are many Such Courtyards or again Ridley Scott has made a big Oversight and Mistake, which i hope not as he usually is meticulous with his eye for details.

First i will tackle the Hanger indeed it appears to look similar and if it is the same and matches the size of the Hanger/Docks in Prometheus then this really shows us the Scale of that Courtyard area... which is HUGE

This also does seem to show that to a degree indeed these Engineers have some Technology, where as in teh Trailers etc all we could see of any Technology was the Cathedral Dome with the Gold Device on top.

So this now really does add a bit more depth to our discussions on what stage of Technology these beings have. I will however add, as i mentioned in the other Cathedral Topics we have covered that what is now for certain a Hanger, still has those Statues around it that are very Buddha Offering Statues in likeness.

Which if these Statues are like the Buddha ones for more than just Coincidence, and so if they do represent some kind of Offering significance then maybe indeed these Hangers hold Technology of a Advanced Race, that is maybe held back from the use of those beings on this World... 

Here are the TWO Cathedral shots we have seen from Trailers, and i want you to notice how different they are to the images in the OT

Compared to the Images from the Trailers etc, look at A where is the Cathedral Dome? Maybe its off screen past where B is?

Now Look at C and again notice that the position of this Dome, and the area around and before it, does not match up to the areas where A is and certainly does not match where the Dome is located in the Trailer Shots?

*A Mistake?

*More than One Courtyard with Hanger, and so the one in the Trailers is a different location?

*Or Does that Cathedral/Dome have the ability to take off?

And if so are there more than One? Looks like it.

I have read from those who saw the footage in Las Vegas that the ships link up somehow. Absolutely fantastic images that now act not as spoilers but as mystery contribution.

The Engineers on LV-223 appeared as if they were a military-type clergy.  

Those that David 8 attacked look like cosmopolitan Engineers.

From the looks the scorpion is way too big to fit into the hangar.

as mentioned in another thread i'm tempted to say the "scorpion" looks similar to the creature (supposedly the progenitor of the xenos) from the mural.

also humans developed dilating door tech themselves: perhaps another ridders motif
