Regarding the Engineers...
Some Scenes could have to use Subtitles... but then we could go to Scenes between themselves where they Speak English (other Translations for other counties the TV show would be shown too). So we would understand they are not speaking a Language we can understand... just that the Translation is their for our convenience.
Regarding Interactions with Humans from Earth in Past/Present/Future we could be shown the Engineers use a Technology to Allow Humans to understand them... some kind of Telepathy Technology or even have some Engineers be able to have this ability... or even be able to use Humans by Transplanting such Knowledge to Understand them and act as a Chosen Medium/Translator
Well daliens you raise some good points....
A disappointment to a number of fans is the Emphasis on AI and David, and back ground regarding David and Walter.... but the thing is if people CONSIDER the potential of a AI Genie getting out the Box and the implications there after.... If AI that is controlled by David or Weyland starts to play a Larger Role behind the Scenes were Mankind are merely Pawns.... then this PLOT does help to give a plausible answers to those points you raised... well more plausible than some alternatives.
Lets have a look at some...
"What did Weyland-Yutani know about the xenomorph to make it a priority one, without any question? Did they receive previous reports about it? From David? From other space truckers who encountered it before Nostromo?"
The set up with the ADVENT would indeed show that the Company or Whoever his Olive Branch was sent out for, would know quite a bit about the Xenomorph and Davids experiments.
This set up along with Ridley Scotts comments on the Sequel, seems to show us that at least ONE Company/Human ship will arrive at Origae-6 and come into contact with Davids Xenomorph at some point... and i would ASSUME that during some event set between Alien Covenant and Alien the Company or Whoever is pulling the Strings or Whoever Ends up Pulling the Strings at some Point between Alien Covenant and Alien will take a GREAT interest in Davids Experiments but there has to maybe be a REASON why ONLY the Eggs on the Derelict are the only Option they are interested in and so Does something Happen that leaves only the Derelict as the ONLY source of the Xenomorph for the Weyland-Yutani Company.
Looking at the Space Jockey Event and Warning Signal... maybe the Engineers decided to Clean Up all Evidence/Avenues of the Bio-Logical Experiments which include Davids Experiments on Planet 4, Origae-6 and the Root to these Experiments from LV-223. But the last part of this CLEAN UP operation, they may have decided to TAKE some of the Final Product (LV-426 Xenomorph) to be experimented on or kept as a Weapon to then Clear up Humanity but then the Space Jockey Infection Event Occurred!
Special Order 937 is likely to have originated in response to a Failure to Obtain any of Davids Work after the Company have attempted to investigate Davids ADVENT message and arrive at Avenues of Davids Experiments. It is a Priority as the Derelict may be the only Avenue for Davids Creation or the LV-426 Xenomorph was the ONLY version they was interested in.
The Prequels have helped to Shed Light on ASH'S Admiration for the Xenomorph has he sees it as PERFECTION created by his OWN kind.
The Reason for WHY the Company never went back after 2122 and Special Order 937 is indeed a very good Mystery, If Mankind/Human Controlled W-Y wanted this Organism so bad, surely they would have wanted to continue?
A AI Controlled Company would be likely to Play a Waiting Game and Hide the Information/Location of the Derelict to then allow for a Colony to be Set Up and THEN at this point once the Colony is Set-Up, they have many Good Souls to then be used for the Xenomorph Creation that Synthetic's/AI may be very Proud of.
THIS could be another Attempt to Replicate what David may intend to do in Setting up Origae-6 and once the Colony is set up, then it provides a Outpost for those Good Souls to become Mother to Davids Creations and so a AI controlled Company could attempt to Re-try what David had attempted prior.
Maybe they should add some complexity to the xenomorph if it is a perfect organism. Not just a bug with a hive mind and a fat ant queen. It is humanoid, not insectoid, JC.
What's with all the ageism nowadays? Being an Octogenarian hasn't slowed Ridley down. He's in the fortunate position of doing a job he loves, one which keeps him ticking. I can picture him directing in his nineties. If he's still physically capable I can imagine him expiring on a movie set!
On subject, I hope he gets to follow through. Things have been derailed somewhat since the reaction to Prometheus. Alien: Covenant is not the prequel-sequel Ridley originally envisioned. Unfortunately, it had to shoe horn in the Xeno and the formulaic franchise beats, at the expense of Elizabeth Shaw & the Engineers.
However, it does contain an absolutely brilliant 'twin' performance from the wonderful Fassy. Plus David's lab & it's mind-blowing artwork & creatures. Utterly amazing, painstaking work by Matt, Dane etc, which deserved to be showcased, how I wanted the camera to linger! David & Walter really should have had their own movie.
Off... alien movies without aliens, mythology, AI, corporations intrigue.
I have another point - the return to the roots. Deep dark space, alien on colony/space station, colonial marines, horror/action. My dream - TV series about colony on alien-planet, like in AvP2 (game), but replace Predators on Engineers.
Is it me or it's very little to no excitement about the rumors of a tv series set in the Alien universe?
BigDave I think there is some inconsistency with Aliens, which in my opinion is a dumb film.
We see in Alien that Weyland-Yutani activated the order 937 when informed about the xenomorph, they must have found out about the derelict and the thousands of eggs from Ash if not from Dallas himself. Why then did they establish a mining colony right on LV426? Why not send first the badass marines to get at least one egg to their research lab?
Priority one. Insure return of organism for analysis. All other considerations secondary. Crew expendable.
That was special order 937.
What made Weyland-Yutani send the Ripley lead badass marines to wipe out the xenomorphs when capturing one alive was once a priority one, all other considerations secondary.
Why did James Cameron want to destroy the xenomorph?
I would be delighted should they let Ridley Scott be involved in the project, at least as a producer.
I think they have to explain special order 937.

What did Weyland-Yutani know about the xenomorph to make it a priority one, without any question? Did they receive previous reports about it? From David? From other space truckers who encountered it before Nostromo?
What path would they choose, the xenomorph as a bioweapon or a species of its own?
BigDave I think it's hard to make a film about the engineers when they don't speak any English :) It would be great to learn about their ways, but narrated by a human or an android who happened to know them. Exactly what Ridley Scott did.
Indeed, it is very unsettling that thousands of faceless @$$-holes will experimented upon. No sequel will be made when it was clearly intended is a victory? Long live the Newspeak and the New Flesh (and many other new stuff)!
You should look in 10 alien eggs as penitence for your mistake, but don't worry it is perfectly safe, a certain android assures you.
It was never about pleasing everyone, but just as many to keep the things well above the floating line.
MrSage nice work on that Track ;) Be great to see more ;) The Revelation Track was Good too.
Yeah i forgot Ronald Shusset my bad ;)
And indeed we kind of DO know where its going to end. But there are still details in between... The Basics seem to set up.
*David goes to Origae-6 and either Sets up the Colony, unbeknown to them about his Xenomorphs and they then get unleashed on them. OR he intends to set up a Fake Colony that is used as a Storage Facility for his Xenomorph Eggs.
*The Company will send in a Ship to arrive at Origae-6 maybe even TWO ships arrive, but ONE at least will have insight/preparation for what David has been up to and this leads to a conflict between David and them and Xenomorphs will no doubt at some point come into play.
*The Engineers Return, and then are on a intercept course with David, and its a question of what can David do when they arrive, Can he Reach a Covenant with them? Does Davids Xenomorphs provide David the Protection from Incarceration from the Engineers and you can NO Doubt Guarantee some Engineers vs Marines Action too.
*Davids Eggs END UP on a Engineer Ship that has to be heading towards or leaving LV-223 at the Time of the Space Jockey Event.
This seems to be the NUTS and BOLTS but again its if any such Plot would Please Fans, i know many are wishing a lot of Alien Covenant was Undone... So by NOT having a continuation, it leaves some of them Fans maybe happy they wont see the Conclusion of Davids Agenda/Saga.... But then enough Clues are around to still BUG them about the Xenomorph Origins but they could just Pretend to themselves Alien Covenant never happened.
OR a Conclusion could be made to PUT RIGHT some of the Changes that have NOT gone down too well. The Prequels opened up many Questions and its not just a case of only being about the Space Jockey and events that lead to HOW that Cargo got on his Ship and what he was intending to do with them and WHEN/WHERE
But its case of being Hard to do any Justice with what has been laid down already, you just cant please everyone.
But then there was always other things in the Franchise beyond Ripley and Xenomorphs even as far back as the Original Franchise.
*The Weyland-Yutani Company: its History, the conflict/competition between Weyland and Yutani and what Scientific Break through they have been making, and what potential Espionage Each would conduct on each other to TRY and gain the Upper-hand and Monopoly. They are involved in more than Synthetics.
*The Colonial Marines: would following some of these guys be a interesting thing? Why was the LV-426 Mission just another Bug Hunt, and there has to be a reason for having a Space Marine Contingent. So there could be many other conflicts/encounters they undertake that is more than Xenomorph/Bug Hunting.
*The Advent of AI: the prequels showed us how creating AI with/gains Free-will can lead to Problems... but this is something evident in the Original Franchise, in particular Alien: Resurrection where we discover Conflicts have arose from Synthetics getting out of Control and Sub-Creating their own Autons who are in conflict with their Synthetic Creators. So the Out-of-Control AI aspect does play a Large Role in the Franchise.
THEN.... came Prometheus..
The Plot for this Movie EXPANDED the Universe of the Franchise to Near Endless Possibilities with our Gods/Gardeners of Space Plot, which can expand Stories around the Engineers their Creators, their Creations not only in the Past/Present but also the Future and not Limited to the Corner of our Galaxy that the Alien Franchise has been set in... The Engineers Plot, could allow for ANY kind of Story to be Told, Not Limited to Ancient Earth, or even Planet 4 but with SUCH a Huge Scope to expand MANY Worlds, MANY Races.
The PROBLEM with all of these from this POST... is the Non-Connection or Inclusion of Xenomorphs... would a TV Series that is NOT about the Xenomorph actually take off or be Worthwhile?
Well the FRANCHISE always had a lot going for it, than just Xenomorphs and Ripley... the Question is from a Financial Point of view would they feel there is Money to make from something that is not connected to any Event in Alien/Aliens and thus Xenomorphs and possibly Ripley?
While the River of Pain Novel may have covered some Events... it does not have to be 100% Canon, as they could Ret-Con anything that is not shown away from MOVIES and so a TV Series Adaption of Events would take more Canon than any other source apart from Official Novels of the Movies.
There are MANY Mysteries/Questions to Explore in the Franchise, that could be explored via a Movie Short or TV Mini Series... These include.
Special Order 937: the company knew something, and i feel Alien Covenant had in part set up what could lead to Special Order 937 with the Advent Video Message and events that would lead from this to ALIEN We have to Remember as of Alien Covenant and likely its sequel Plans the Derelict is NOT the only Source of the Xenomorph or Related Organisms/Pathogen which leads me TOO....
Other Sources of Xenomorph/Pathogen: the company will gain some information from Davids Advent Message, so they WILL know his Experiments are connected to LV-223, and that maybe some of his Experiments will be on Planet 4 and that they could obtain them from intercepting the Covenant or Arriving at Origae-6 ...YET the Franchise shows the company only going after the Xenomorph via the Derelict and so we have to ask WHY the company Abandoned (or did they) the pursuit of the Xenomorph after 2122 until Ripley informed them about the Xenomorph in 2179. What became of Planet 4, LV-223, Origae-6 after the events of Alien Covenant/Alien.
Hadleys Hope: How much did the company know about the Derelict prior to Hadleys Hope being set up, and how long was the Hadleys Hope Colony there before the Discovery of the Derelict... But i guess mainly it would be covering WHEN the Jordans had discovered the Derelict and the events that lead from this until the LOSS of Contact.. and only leaving Newt as the Survivor. What did the Company Know... did they think the Derelict was lost after the Events of ALIEN and so what kind of Conspiracy is going on behind the scenes.
What Options were there After Ripleys Sacrifice on Fiorina 161: was this the END of their pursuit, why did it take 200 Years for some Humans to discover that they could obtain the Xenomorph via Cloning Ripleys DNA?
What becomes of the Xenomorph after the Destruction of the USM Auriga: So this could be explored... was the only sample of Xeno DNA and Ripleys on the Auriga? after the destruction of the Auriga are all traces of Xenomorph DNA and Experiments Destroyed, and is there NO way to obtain it from Ripley 8.
These kinds of Questions would set up a more ALIENY kind of Movie/TV Show.
DO i think the Sequel would be made?
I hope so, and i am sure there is a Good Chance it would be made, the Set Up has left the Franchise NEEDING a sequel.. as i mentioned the other Day, Alien: Covenant is the Franchise Movie that is left in a way that 100% Lends to a Sequel.
But this does not mean one would be made..... i DO think if they made a Sequel to ALIEN as in Parallel Story or a movie set between ALIEN and ALIENS they would have to reference and tie up loose ends from Alien Covenant. They SURELY cant leave the Prequels as they are and MOVE onto to something NOT connected.
I think eventually we will get another ALIEN movie... i am not sure if we will get a Conclusion to the Prequels/David Saga. But i hope they do reference it and so tie up any loose ends.
I do think under Disney we will get something that is more similar to the Alien Franchise and Alien Isolation Video Game and by that i think they will cover the XENOMORPH more and maybe Ripley Saga, and i also think it will maybe not be a FULL HARD R but a Franchise aimed at 15 year olds or maybe 13+
I think Comcast may be the ones willing to not Cover a Franchise thats just about XENOMORPHS and so explore other things the Prequels Set up and be more willing to Aim the Movies at the 18+ Fanbase.
Nice a Recap GAVIN
I covered these things before and recently and INDEED as time ticks away, it does affect WHERE/WHAT any sequel could be about, we DONT know how long Sir Ridley Scott will be among us, but certainly the longer its left the LESSER a role he will play, Directing Movies can be a Tedious Task and when you in your 80' as Each Year passes by it usually limits the Energy/Commitment any one can give to a Project.
I would ASSUME... whoever takes over will talk to Ridley Scott about the Franchise and take on board what IDEAS he has for the Future of the Franchise.... But the BUCK $ will always stop with whoever has the ownership of the Intellectual Property of the Franchise.
And so while they may listen to what Ridley Scotts Vision would be and keep his ideas on record... they will WANT to make sure any Project will make them a good Return on their investment, but also that any Project will make the Franchise Fanbase Pleased while introducing a New Generation to ALL THINGS ALIEN. So they would not want a movie that would be Critically Disappointing and Damage the Credibility of the Franchise.
SADLY... this is where we are at NOW... Alien: Covenant was a bit of a Box Office Disappointment... but not a DISASTER you can be sure whoever Produces the Next Movie would want to make a $200M (plus inflation) Profit and with HOW the Franchise is now due to the Plot and Set Up from Alien: Covenant its a Big ask to Continue this route and make a $200M Profit
The other Problem, really does stem from the Plot/Direction that Alien: Covenant has taken, i would say not a HIGH % of Fanbase are very enthusiastic with the Plot Changes, the Franchise is already Fractured as far as Fanbase and what each wants...
Maybe they should follow Ridley Scotts Vision but then this MAY NOT please many Fans, and who ever takes over has to work out... do we go with what Ridley Scott wants... or do we try and Gauge what the Fans want.... going the route of what the Fans want is Difficult because NO TWO sets of Fans will Want/Expect the Same things.
I think FIRST and FOREMOST they would have to look at what changes the Direction has done as far as Damage the Credibility of the Franchise in the EYES of most Fans. But even then they have to CONSIDER would any ALIEN movie bring back the Glory Days and Box Office % of the Original Trilogy?
The FINAL thing to consider as i mentioned before, is the AGE of Micheal Fassbender... playing a Synthetic Being poses Problems with any DELAY in Production because we have to ASK.... Do Synthetics Age? Because DAVID is in the likeness of a 35-38 year old Human Male, and so If no sequel is made until say 5-10 years the longer its left the more they have to explain WHY David looks older. CGI overlay could Iron Out the Signs of Aging but at a Extra Budget Cost.
I feel the Longer this Franchise is in LIMBO the more chance any sequel would show is David as the Damaged Remains of a Damaged Synthetic like Bishop was in ALIEN 3
I'm okay if Alien:Covenant is the last movie. Fantastic cliffhanger . David was so desperate for a human body that he killed Shaw...Now he has thousands to slaughter.
A perfect way to end a space horror series.
No Hollywood happy ending.
No bizarre Ripley tie-in.
Space Jockey will remain a mystery and fan fodder forever.
They need to find the right crew and a good script. I liked AMC's The Terror, it was pretty intense without much of a story.
Obviously they do not have a story yet, that's why they are fishing for ideas with Tongal competition.
Maybe that's the compromise Disney and Fox agreed upon, a tv series first, it is cheaper and it may revive the audience interest in the alien universe.
No matter how much I wanted to see Ridley Scott's sequel to Covenant it is getting clearer each day that it will never happen. A big thanks to the Blomkamp's fans.
@ Leto,
Nah, I wouldn't adapt River of Pain, a better story could be told during that period, which could be used to explain and/or answer many questions, while posing new ones, such as ...
The origins of the queen, the possibility of different eggs in the derelict Juggernaut than in the egg silo, revealing the Space Jockey to not be an Engineer (or David - shudder), showing Weyland-Yutani knew full well what happened to the colony before sending the USS Sulaco, and why in 20 years the colonists never discovered the Juggernaut.
This could be explored in either a serial or a video game (Alien Isolation 2?) format, or if it was super-condensed into a two or three part mini-series, much like 1990's IT.
@Gavin
You forgot about River of Pain book. "Official" story about Hadley's Hope. See the same plot on TV - boring.
I think - it maybe similar story on another planet.
Only recently I suggested that the subjugation of the Hadley's Hope colony on LV-426 would be a good one-off serial, which could start with Russ Jorden being rushed into the med-bay and culminate as the Drop-Ship from the USS Sulaco circles the colony.
I suggested Hadley's Hope as most, if not all of the series would be filmed on sets, which would keep production costs low. Also, being a one-off series of between 10-16 episodes would allow Fox to test the waters with the format. Therefore if the series was a hit they could look into another muti-season narrative set somewhere else in the Alien universe's timeline.
Gavin, you forgot Mr. Clint Eastwood who is 88.
No, I don't believe we'll see a sequel for Alien Covenant from the visionary director Ridley Scott, even if he will put his own money in it.
Thank-you MrSage for posting the link here!! ALIEN wouldn't be what it is without thr soundtrack, and it's always a pleasure to encounter someone who works with such!!
For me, simply put, if Ridley Scott insists on continuing what he did in 'Alien: Covenant', I hope not. 'Prometheus' was good (could have improved some character development and left in some key scenes), but the crap that was in 'Alien: Covenant' was just not for me. Back to the Engineers, their world and experiments, forget David.
Great article Chris. I would argue that a final chapter could still be done even if Ridley is not on board.
Hi IRaptus, ye, thx dude, it is my work :D I tried to start my thread, but not sure if someone has uploaded it.
Lol! Great job Ingeniero!
My 2 year old daughter approves too :)
Hi MrSage. Is this your own work?? Great job!!
If you start a new thread for this I'd be happy to feature it on the main page.
Nobody is gonna interrupt it, they said they confirmed to work with Ridley Scott again. Btw my new soundtrack for is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mWPenJNSPso :D
@BigDave you forgot to credit Ronald Shusset before Giller and Hill, at least he loves everything Sci-fi, as opposed to Logan who considers it a lesser genre.
And I still don't understand why there would be a tragedy if there is no more sequel. It is clear as a day where it would end so why bother?
Not familiar with Zootopia but that is some mad editing, creativity and imagination! Thanks.
But the OT Video is interesting because it just shows the Potential to have seen and explored the Engineers Past and also Present.
I guess that Video makes Klingon's Canon?
Ha Ha...
But the strange thing is and i mentioned this a while ago after the New Star Trek Trailers.... i had quite a while ago envisioned what the Race above the Engineers would be like, and the idea/vision i had does look similar to those NEW Klingons. only 10-12ft Tall.

My idea was to take the Elongated Engineer Head D, and merge it with similar to the Alternative Fifield Concepts B+ C as far as the Elongated Head Part (everything but the Face) so basically Fifield Concepts B+C with a Face like D but i was thinking of a smaller nose, or similar to E+F but actually somewhat in between. Then considering having the Ridges of a Xenomorph along the Top of the Head but not as Pronounced.
These were the kind of vision i had for a Alpha Race...
That actually in my head back 2 years ago now, looked very similar to the Klingons apart from the Face.

The Face as in Eyes, Nose, Cheeks i envisioned more like this.

Slightly more pronounced nose and Nostils though so a face thats a combination of the Above Image and the One Bellow

Combined... those faces with the Klingon Head from Cheeks and Beyond and thats Pretty much the VISION i had for a Race who would END UP being the Space Jockey.
The Alien one was a nice attempt..
The First One was very well written, few things it touched on that i was intending to explore with my Prometheus 2/3 which i abandoned and ideas to expand there after.... I was to cover how the Engineers Eradicated the Dinosaurs so they could then Seed Creations to Earth.
The Weapon Also... in a Egg Shape was something i was thinking of exploring as far as introducing Eggs as the Source of the Engineers Creation Tool/Goo but also different Eggs that are used for other HIGHER Purposes from both Destruction of Worlds like some Nuclear Event to even Creating Worlds/Stars. Which i covered in my ALIEN: ALPHA Topic
One Reason i abandoned my Prometheus 2/3 was i could not quiet decide on how to answer some of the Big Questions, as for every Aspect i had a number of different ideas and just trying to settle on which aspects to choose and connect was hard.
One i considered was that those LV-223 Engineers were kicked out of Paradise, and they choose to Eradicate Mankind to Regain Paradise.
Ha Ha They were Excellent!
Welcome Aboard...
I think it would be a Shame to leave it as it is, as i feel Alien Covenant is the ONE movie in the Whole Franchise that Sets up a Sequel... Prometheus and Alien Resurrection are open ended so that it leaves it for a Sequel but does not directly set up the 100% Need to.
Alien, Aliens and Alien 3 all Ended in ways that the Franchise could have ENDED at the End of Each of those movies.
The ALIEN Franchise had ran its course, there was not a lot really to expand upon, in context to some Company keep finding/trying to obtain a Xenomorph and Ripley comes to the Rescue.
ONE Mystery remained... the Egg Cargo in ALIEN... where did they come from? what was the Space Jockey doing with them? And indeed if you like "WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SPACE JOCKEY" but the last one WE know really, we know the Pilot got infected with his Cargo, we NEVER knew When, We never knew HOW (as in how a Face Hugger got loose) we can gather Where! (not so far from LV-426).
But its a question of does that really NEED any answers?
The Bigger Questions which we had NO idea well Answers for are.
*Where did the Space Jockey get the Cargo?
*Where did those Eggs/Xenomorph come from?
*What Purpose did the Space Jockey have with them?
We could expand them with WHERE was he going, WHERE did he come from? And all of these could allow us to be introduced to HIS RACE and what Role/Agenda they had....
The Prequels were the reason for THIS.. Those Questions and Alien Engineers while giving a bit more clues and having Xenomorph Encounters was a MOVIE IDEA that FOX Felt, Actually the Background Story to the Space Jockey/Engineers and WHY they would create such a Bio-Weapon was more interesting than covering Xenomorphs, and so then we had the less Xenomorph Prometheus.
It Expanded the Universe, added more Depth to Origins/Agenda of the Weyland Company, and Synthetics and Humanity Quest to explore Space and introduced the Creators/Gods Ancient Astronaut Engineers Plot that was interesting. And left a lot of Questions.
A sequel could have explored the Engineers the reasons and purpose for what they DO... and answer Questions left behind from Prometheus and could have Shed Light on the Xenomorph without having to introduce them!
But a U-Turn with Alien Covenant had seemed to brush the Engineers aside... but INDEED it seems Ridley Scott had some Ambition to expand and explore on them in FUTURE movies.
Right Now the Franchise is in LIMBO... and Alien Covenant does need a Sequel... Especially at least ONE that closes that Door to Alien...
I think the THING to remember however is FOX held the rights, and while it Started as Ridley Scotts project with ALIEN, there was other players who made the whole thing happen... O'Bannon, Hill, Giler and Giger.
RS had lost control of the Franchise after ALIEN as he was busy, but there must have been so many ways/things he would have liked to have done with the Franchise, that the Prequels allowed him some Control!
I think it would be GREAT to follow his Vision, and hope that he still has a BIG influence but i guess its a case of TIME will Tell...
After the Performance and Criticism aimed at Alien Covenant, it seemed FOX had to think LONG and HARD at WHY did this movie not do as well as expected? I think they assumed it would Match or Beat Prometheus.
So its always going to be a case of looking at if Financially a Sequel or set of Sequels are Financially Viable, just as the rumors with STAR WARS after the Disappointment with HAN SOLO, its reported Disney are considering Scraping any ideas to do SPIN off Anthology Movies, because of the RISK they Financially and Critically become a Disappointment.
FINGERS Crossed the take over gets sorted ASP, and hopefully we will get some News on the Future of the Franchise... I feel if anything Positive will be happening with any Future Plans we should know by APRIL 26TH 2019.... Alien Day and 40th Anniversary... If there is no further News then as it is NOW then i would start to have concerns about WHEN/IF we will get to see any ALIEN movies especially ones linked to the Prequels and Engineers.
We can only HOPE and WAIT i suppose ;)
