i got the 1979 movie alien figure, but his inner jaw dosnt come out because the site that shipped it (i dont remember what the site name was) gave me one with a broken mouth so the jaw sadly, dosnt come out...

i also have the horror clix avp alien queen set but it said i cant play without the horror clix starter pack... wow. just my luck. a broken figure and a set to a game i cant play... :(

I'm just getting such a kick out of this game designed for seven year olds that's from a R rated film about an alien that eviscerates people. You roll two dice, one red, one white. The red is how many spaces your alien moves and the white, how many one of your three astronauts move. If an alien lands on an airshaft, you can send it to any number of shaft openings anywhere on the board with your next turn. ...and get this....rule #7 of Elimination of Astronauts (in bold lettering)..........[b]Aliens are never eliminated[/b]...........awesome

That prototype doll is wicked looking. I loved Alien Resurrection up until the part with the New Born, however I didn't know about the human skull under the dome of the original Alien until AVP:R came out and they had mentioned the Predalien featured the translucent dome/ skull in a nod to the original Alien. The skull on your doll shows through way more than I've seen in other pics. I think it gives the alien a much more sinister/evil look then just the smooth dome does. It also gives me a better appreciation of the New Borns design and where they drew some of the concept from. I wish I had known about it when I first watched Alien Res; maybe I would've taken the New Born a bit differently.

I am a huge Rolling Stones fan and thats what happened on several fan boards in past months. THEN the Stones released Live in Texas 78 (their response to punk rock) and the boards lit-up like Christmas! All the reading-into-details-to-deep-threads all went away. I have enjoyed quite a few threads here but man it is going to be a long wait! I will still probably check this forum a few times a week just to see if we have a new leaked plot/prop whatever. I WILL say that this forum houses some of the most educated Alien fans out there... and we have USHBUCK, aka Mr. 'ihopenoomigetsrapedinthismovie'. Oh man. Giger is dark but his fans are darker..

You know, I'm not sure how distracting it would be - BUT I think maybe individual GIF's for board icons here in the forums might be rather neat. We scale them down any ways so it wouldn't slow anything down server-side. What are your thoughts? But, maybe cook one up for me Ripley, from Alien where the crew are first entering the derelict. Just of them walking in with their head flash lights on and gear. Add any other bits you feel would make the GIF even better if you wish, I trust your judgement. Great thread by the way!
