I like the idea that you offer thought proving ideas with no conclusive answer on the actual question of how you define life but your ideas are for want of a better word engaging in the Prometheus way, rather than descriptive in the direction Covenant is heading. What is really important is you giving some proper meaning to the one survivor from Prometheus. 

Personally I just do not think the creature is interesting enough to give it more prominence. It was the cargo not the pilot from the very beginning but your approach that the Engineers are in some way co equivalent would work much better for the fan base than my view which is the same as Ridleys - its a weapon or those who created it and engage with it think it is.  

I dont think Alien needs sequels.I`d like to see 6 movies Ridley was planning.

Maybe that's why David created the facehugger, it's designed for blood-circulated organisms.  :D

I love the first queen scene in AR. The way the camera pans from the scientists to the queen is so dope. 

btw I think ALIENS vs ALIEN3 would be a great comparison.

I thought the black goo was a form of AI from what we saw in the extras for Covenant and Covenant itself? Correct me if I'm wrong because I'm unsure and not trying to cause consternation! I'm just a bit confused, if this is true then the AI theory might not be relevant! 

I think a TV series which tells a background/story about Weyland would be fantastic.

alot of people would probably find this really boring but i would like to see a completely company based movie with very few xenomorph things. would pretty much put you through a day in an average weyland yutani worker. mabyr a scientist who is studying the xenos or something.

Is the next artical going to be alien vs alien 3. I feal that there is not really much to discuss although I like alien 3 assebaly cut just as much as alien.

aliens by far. there is something that has always bothered me in alien resurrection. I think its mostly the creatures. look at this image of a chestburster at the beginning.

they do not look like chestbursters to me and they look much worse than all the other designs. the regular xenomorphs are so slimy you cant see their biomachanical creatures and it takes away their beauty in my opinion. here is a comparison.

I have always hated the newborn from the moment I saw it.

I also felt like the acting from sigorny weaver and winona ryder wasn't very good.

Definitely hope there will be an Alien Isolation movie soon. It would be pretty awesome if they keep the 70s setting/mood as appeared in the game. And I suggest Rebecca Hall to play Amanda.

ALIENS definitely. I like AR but in terms of viewing experience and memory, Aliens is a Hollywood classic. I remembered the first time I saw it in my uncle's home I was blown away. I even like Aliens more than Alien back then. Indeed as time goes by my love for Aliens has diminished, but I have to admit that without ALIENS, others prequels/sequels may not deserve a better love. 

Looks like a great book. 

I think he collected some of the original concept art for the book. I am not sure though. he comes up as the auther.

The franchise needs to return to its true grit. 

CGI needs to used sparingly unless WETA is doing the CG.
