One of the potential outcomes for the Offspring's final form would have seen the creature transform from Humanoid Engineer to Xenomorph, with a Xenomorph skull bursting from behind the eyes of the Offspring's adolescent form. Here you can see the cranium begin to change, becoming more Xenomorph-like and elongated.
