Jon Sapihts, who wrote the original script for the Alien prequel before Damon Lindelof was hired for a re-write, also penned a script called Shadow 19. Just read it online. Awesome. It has the military and action elements of Aliens plus a terraforming ship named Prometheus. Obviously Ridley isn’t making that film because Sapihts wrote another script for Prometheus and Lindelof rewrote that. Anyway it’s still a great read.
