Perry Rhodan World Con in Mannheim/ Germany

Hi, I just came home from the 3 day lasting [b]World Convention[/b] to celebrate the 50th jubilee of Perry Rhodan. It was quite full but mostly visited by german fans; but there were also Americans or Japanese... That originally german sci-fi series meanwhile incorporates almost 3000 volumes... and authors stand always in close relation with fans. So what can I say... It´d be hard to abstract these to a plot for a movie. The trend obviously goes to tell more and more on less content. The admission-price was with 39 Euros relatively high; in return one could see a lot of guys in fantastic costumes and dioramas which easily match up with H.R. Giger´s art. Want some impressions?
