December 23, 2011i do hope that Scott keeps the score as minimal as Goldsmith did in ALIEN,
films these days (especially sci-fi / horror) tend to insert loud loud / sudden
jolts of music to "scare" the audience, rather than letting the visuals do what
they are intended to do. John Carpenter started that, and it was cool when he
did it...now almost ALL horror film directors resort to this now cheap tactic
i hope Scott keeps the focus on the film, with the score as the prefect
accent to the film, rather than the score driving a film of this type....
