MemberOvomorph12/24/2011I thought i'd share with you my first piece of Prometheus memorabilia.
Eventually, I hope to get the entire cast of Prometheus and Ridley Scott :)
I'm a huge fan of attending movie premieres in my hometown of Los Angeles,
California. I attended the Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows
red carpet premiere in Westwood, California. I was aware of actress
Noomi Rapace starring in the directed Guy Ritchie film. And was certain
Rapace was gonna be at the event. So I whipped up a production photo
of Rapace as "Elizabeth Shaw" in the upcoming Sir Ridley Scott film.
Getting autographs at movie premieres do have its challenges
but I succeeded ^_^
Here's a link to a clip of me calling Noomi Rapace out on Prometheus
to have her sign my photo at exactly 0:56

And the result:

If you take this link and punch it in to a new firefox browser window you will prompted to save or open a pdf which is an 8 page excerpt of the best secrets on Alien Revealed by Giger and Scott themselves
http://www.littlegiger.com/articles/files/Starlog_26.pdf
It is now a collectors item for sure !!!

MemberOvomorph12/24/2011For as cool as it is to get that autograph, I have some issue with people who attend these events and hound people like this. Paparazzi and autograph seekers. Especially the ones that are like "hey NOOMI< the white card right in front of you, the white card". You can even see on her face that she is just "meh" and almost like "alright, get me out of here" Nothing against the original poster. NO disrespect meant at all. I guess it is hard to explain my viewpoint on it without sounding like an asshole but something about it just bugs me. I guess doing all the traveling I have in the past with some actors and minor celebs has lent me different eyes on the scenario.

MemberOvomorph12/24/2011Those are the same people who are going to get really upset if they don't get the autograph. Afterward it is "what a b+++h", "f++k her she an a++hole", "she slept with dolphins to get where she is", etc

MemberOvomorph12/24/2011@Biomechanic - Yeah she seems really nice to go out of her way.
@Spartacus - Thanks ^_^
@Ripley Clone 8 - Yeah, getting these autographs becomes addictive...LOL
When you have time from your film studies you'll have to come out to these
events sometime :)
@Miser - It's typically fine to call out to an actor / actress
when they arrive. Some of them want you to be as loud. Otherwise
they won't come over to greet you. But I also understand what you
mean. Those people you speak of are the Paparazzi and graph dealers. My
feelings are mixed with the ethics of paparazzi and graph hounds myself.
I'm a fan, FIRST. I like the actor's work enough i'll collect their signatures
for fun. It's usually the ones with no manners who shove their cameras and photos
into an actor's face while trying to get more than one signature strictly
for profit that irks me. But at the same time I know there's a
market for celebrity autographs and press photos.
So it's not always a bad thing just as long as you're kind and courteous.
