Ash --> Alien
Bishop --> Aliens
Bishop II --> Alien3 (Michael Bishop wasnt an android LOL)
Call --> Alien Resurrection
Well, we all know what's the name of the android in this movie.

yes was something that was already noticed ...someone else added that if there must be another android should be with E ... Elizabeth

interesting, never occurred to me till now
it may be just a coincidence though, im sure it wasnt planned b/c how could alien resurrection get anything right lol

It could be a coinsidence, it could be a clever clue. I picked up on the David thing ages ago but never thought about the possiblity of Elizabeth being a droid yet. Could Elizabeth really be a droid? or something more important like a new pilot for a derelict?

Well the alphabetical order really came into play in Alien Rez, a kinda tease for the fans to see if they could figure out Call was a synthetic before the reveal.
Regards the possibility of a second synthetic in Prometheus, when asked how many there are in Prometheus Ridley said "One. Maybe two?".
Regards Bishop II, If he was human wouldn't the credits have listed the characters name as Michael Bishop (where the name Michael come from?) instead of Bishop II. With the character being called Bishop II and the lack of agony he experienced when his ear was all but ripped off confirms to me that he was just another synthetic.

Im pretty Sure his full name is Charles Bishop Weyland. And yes, Bishop 2 was a sythetic, That version of Bishop was more based on the sythetics from Blade Runner if I remember correctly.

LOL engineer, I love confusion...
Charles Bishop Weyland - Founder and CEO of Weyland Industries.
Bishop (Hyperdyne Systems Model 341-B - Executive Officer, USS Sulaco
Bishop II - Second Bishop synthetic, end of Alien 3
But some attest that Bishop II was human and was called Michael Bishop, why I don't know?

Engineer - Charles Bishop Weyland as Snork has said was the aparent founder of the company and his actual 'character' was present in AVP 1. That's where you would have got that name from buddy. If it was to be good 'ol Chuck in Alien 3 he'd have be a few hundred or so years old by the time the event's in Alien 3 transpired, considering AVP 1 was set in more current years and Alien 3 was set way off in the future - I'm sure somebody will hop on and remind us what the year was. Not to mention he should also have been looking fairly rough seen as how the poor chap actually dies in AVP 1.

Bishop was most definitely an android in Alien 3. It is in the script and in the novelization including the graphic novel....and if that weren't enough....the whole ear kind of dangling, without any apparent pain, gives it away.
But this is beside the point....the AVP films are not part of the Alien universe, At all......they are popcorn mash-up films. The equivalent of "Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein".

The alphabet thing I don't find very relevant. If Shaw is a synthetic - boy they must have messed with her wires judging by the trailer.
What I do find interesting and worth speculating on is the comment by Scott on a possible second synthetic. The second android could be a kind of first generation and more mechanical android closer to a robot. Possibly a repair or maintenance robot which might be portrayed in CGI hence no character listing.
