I found this image and revealed that these letters belong to the most ancient civilization of Sumeria, whose Gods were Annunaki.

As everybody can notice on this image in the left corner we can see a bit of the same letters.
So the conclusion is that we must read a little bit more about Sumeria civilization, as you see the movie may be based on its elements....And really if you look through information about Sumeria , you can find lots of interesting discoveries and answers and even more questions...

MemberOvomorph01/11/2012I have long thought that the Annunaki could be part of the story but never thought to look up the writing. Very nice find.

MemberOvomorph01/11/2012Also see the History Channel Ancient Aliens. Definively match that Annunaki idea even if its absurd.

MemberOvomorph01/11/2012The concept of Annunaki will figure a lot in the movie. They won't call it as such though.
June 8 is the date, people.

MemberOvomorph01/11/2012the logo is awesome and how its a version of that ancient egyptian symbol..talk about neat...i am INTRIGUED

Mala'kak
MemberOvomorph01/12/2012Yeah it's so great how the symbol resembles Weyland-Yutani's winged globe. I've been thinking about this idea too. I wonder if the "Watchers" of ancient Indian mythology and elsewhere, or what seems like our idea of the typical grey alien (the Sumerian mythology had another name for them) could be in this movie also if it's sticking that close to some of these ancient myths. It could be possible with the more typical looking flying saucer design of that one craft in the trailer.

MemberOvomorph01/12/2012Biomechanic, no i didn`t write that, and it is also very nice find of an article, very interesting, i gonna find some more information. So maybe even plot of the movie and the character of engineers will be close bound to the mythology of the Sumeria and Annunaki

MemberOvomorphJul-07-2012 3:52 PMI guess people have forgotten about this, because it fits RIGHT IN to the whole entire premise of Prometheus!
