Man when has a movie been this anticipated! I can still remember seeing alien for the first time when I was 9 and it scared the s*%*t out of me. Now here we are several decades later going back to the root of it all! I have always wanted to know the origins of the SJ, and now we are about to. Ridley better not disappoint, as I was just about as excited when the star wars prequals came out .... and we got Jar Jar!! But I have more faith in Ridley then George any day.

Hype can kill a movie...the expectations can become so high that almost nothing is deemed sufficient.....I sincerely hope that this will not be the case with Prometheus.... i am certainly looking forward tho....perhaps more than ever...my own anticipations are almost scary......i must stop coming here...lol....i'm starting to think that it's not healthy or normal..;)...borderline obsession......

Funny I never got into the hype machine when faced with those Star Wars prequels...so i almost enjoyed them....i never really took "Star Wars" seriously....WTF was that Muppet show in the beginning of "Return of the jedi" about....even as i child I fucking cringed...

true, going from empire to jedi was a huge jump. but this is ridley freakin scott. he needs one more run. my hopes are up, but not too much. especially after robin hood. yuck

Scott has mentioned a movie in the Blade Runner world, so he better do well on Prometheus, or else the interest in seeing that will be very low.
