Yeah I always wondered that too. You would think they have to eat. And they do show a scene in Alien 3 where the xeno is chowing down. Maybe they eat some of the hosts after the baby xeno has bursted? But you dont really see any evidence of this in the movies.

wow, nice question..yeah, perfect organism, right. I think they did evolve, and their organism just feeds very slowly, insect-like, and in phases of inactivity they fall in completely rigidity, deep-sleep- like. remember Aliens when they came down from the walls? no need for big shit ;)

I was reading down through the forum topics & when I got to 'How come Xenos don't shit' I nearly shit myself!! :-) I was already thinking about something that made me chuckle then when I read that it was too much!
