Great Night

Watched a 35mm print of the director's cut of Alien earlier tonight at a theater in Austin TX and it was without a doubt the best screening of the film I've been to. The print was in excellent condition and the attention to detail in the production design is nothing short of amazing. I love this film and I have no doubt that Prometheus will be fantastic. Every time I watch a print I notice something new. The performances are excellent, sound design is phenomenal, too many positives to list. This was Scott's second feature film (I think). He's made quite a bit of work since. I have no doubt we're in for a treat this June. Yeah so nothing news related. Just had to get that out.
