MemberOvomorph01/23/2012Well its interesting to read the crew ridley has behind this Arthur max is about the best art designer in the business a long time collaborator with ridley .
Janty Yates is doing the costumes, again she's first class her work on kingdom of heaven and gladiator were amazing.
Pietro Scalia is also first class and has done some great editing in the past most evident in gladiator and black hawk down but can he match terry rawlings cutting that was crucial to the success of alien?
The weak link in the chain may be the score but i have great expectations for this and its a vital component in this type of film maybe the most after principal photography.
One things guaranteed is the sound effects department can have no excuses for lack of atmosphere because the amount of state of the art hardware and software in recent years has come on leaps and bounds and i have an enormous amount of interest in this field i also own a lot of synthes and sound software all top end and highly cherished so i am confident the sound effects will be cutting edge and first class.

Director is great ...Crew is great ...actors are great ...what we fear is the plot :p

MemberOvomorph01/23/2012yeah i agree Frantz there was a sc fi film written by Jon Spaihts recently i can't remember the tile but it all took part in russia and the reviews were less than complimentary.
That is a concern but the cast and Ridley claim its great script and Ridleys held out for thirty years for a decent script so fingers crossed it will all come together.
