The crashing derelict...

I have been reading some earlier topics from today about the possibility of the derelict being 'alive' and some how more than simply a ship. This ties in with something I have been kicking around since I first watched the trailer. Check it out at 59 sec, I think the crashing derelict (behind Shaw just before it hits the ground) looks like the Xeno's face / jaw area. Maybe I am just seeing things, but interested to hear your thoughts. Ridley did talk about Xenos in a form we wont recognise and a BIG surprise. Please be gentle, its my first topic.

Yeah I've read that somewhere to, and the big chair type thing we saw in Alien was a kinda interface to control the ship. That'd be similar to the Wraith species in Stargate Atlantis, who share their DNA with the actual spaceships they use. It would be an interesting way of showing how the SJ's used their own technology though. . .

Have you also noticed how it crashes sideways, and must roll over once to stop in the position we see it in the 'overhead' shot? That shot also shows the track made in the earth as it rolls... very neat idea - but then this IS a Ridley Scott film - so I am sure we can expect more things we have never seen before! :-)

Since the SJ room is circular, and may be the Space Map room too (as seen in the trailer), the chair pops out of the floor, or from another round room, The star map appears as an occupant rests in the chair, the "gun" or "telescope" protruding from the chair takes aim at some selected realm of space, and the derelict starts to spin as to create a worm hole (while the chair remains in it's oriented position while the ship spins) and off they go...?

Why is there no signs of damage on the derelict on the ground in both Prometheus tralier and the Alien film, when it was clearly rammed in the air and falls to the ground in the tralier ?? !!!

It looks to me from the trailer ( if you freeze frame) the prometheus impacts the U-Ship to the right of three large oval openings or intakes, this is the same spot that Kane, Dallas, and Lambert enter in the 1979 origonal, in ALiens Camerons uses recently earthquake activity to rip newer holes in the thing. It did look like this was the same Derelict but now they have declared its LV 422 or whatever the number its not Archeron or LV 426 so we waste time specualting its the same ship unless of course a moon blows up or some other incident destroys a couple of the planets in the system and we lose count......I mean look at the mess mis identifying a planet was created in Star Trek 2 ;-).
