Didn't know they used Petra. How many times H'wood used this location? INDIANA JONES, TRANSFORMERS.

In the article on Prometheusnews they say this about the The Old Man of Storr, Skye, UK
"If we may, it has been mentioned by people who have worked on set in Skye that this is where the birth of the Alien takes place in the film!?"

Check out the "Business" section. It lists all the businesses involved with the production of Prometheus. Very comprehensive list.

You have Jordan, the Scottish Higlands and Iceland. Three areas that are still the same as they were thousands of years ago. Those three areas have the strongest myths (Biblical, Celtic and Norse) regarding giants who were fond of raping, pillaging and general nastiness. Perhaps the start of Prometheus will deal with giants being dropped off on Earth, maybe as exiled prisoners of the saucer people?

@bunnypmf
Great theories there! Love to see how Scott would depict the Giants ( only glimpses of Blue Humanoids so far..)

I used the Search feature - yeah!
Here's a little news released today about locations, set dimensions and how they connect.
Quote by Ridley on the James Bond stage “It’s never big enough,”... Ha!
I would say there are some 'spoilers' , but nothing that hasn't already been discussed on this forum in some detail. Good detailed piece.
