I'm just glad that's not the new design. I'm wondering if we'll even be happy with the actual design of anything new that's official.

Looks more like something from the Tremors films. Although these are real at least they're microscopic and live at the oceans depths.

@ Alien DNA: I know what you mean. I'm not even happy with what I've seen so far from official pics. The Space Jockey's are oversimplified. Not what I would expect from Giger at all (but who's to say he had design influence in their lower halves?) They're WAY too simplistic in the arms and legs... and what's with the army boots?! Some of my anticipation of real magic happening has already been diluted. So much for creature-design "outside the box"... maybe they're saving Giger's vision for something else?

I do not like it at all and no offense but seeing a thread with a title like that and then discovering it was just a hoax is quite dissapointing...just a little friendly feedback for ya. Personally I feel it also takes way from the sites credibility and makes adults interested in some good old fashioned Prometheus "Talk Time" will see it as a place where they won't find any.

I have to agree with Spartacus. I know it was for a laugh and all, but it was a bit disappointing. @db- I'm sure they thought they had a great creature design with the Newborn and had no idea it wouldn't sit well with a majority of the fans. I do think there's going to be much more to it than what he's shown us with the suits and whatever goes into/comes out of those suits will be all that we're hoping for. Fingers Crossed!
