Space jockey planet?

I really think it will finish up on LV-426, but before that it will be a completely different planet. IMHO anyways ;-)

Oh, and as for what planet Prometheus will be set on? I don't know. Acheron (or LV-426 if you prefer) is such an obvious choice, but it may be another one of Calpamos' moons? What about Calpamos itself? Or is there no land on it?

Being a Small Gas Giant outside the habitable zone for Zeta 2 Retuculi, Calpamos would be an unlikely choice for a setting. The core is iron and there might be a surface above that of frozen gasses, but the pressure at the surface would be 100's of times the pressure at the surface of the earth.
Although that doesn't preclude bases floating in the outer atmosphere suspended by some amazingly advanced technology.

In the movie it's stated to be LV-223 and not the moon called Acheron (LV-426 ) which orbits the ringed planet Calpamos in the binary star system Zeta Reticuli. RS states only that LV-223 is located in the star system of Zeta Reticuli, the same as LV-426. In the movie, LV-223 also orbits a ringed planet which has "two" moons. LV-426 orbits a ringed planet consisting of "three" moons.
