Weyland Industries Website Has Updated

It's not letting me register with Facebroke, keeps coming up with www.www.weylandindustries.... -_- why oh why does technology hate me so!?!?!?

Yeah, I can't get into the website at all now. When I try it sends me here: https://www.www.weylandindustries.com/ When I delete the extra "www." it keeps sending me back. Only got to view a few pieces including company history (Weyland Industries has built other worlds within the solar system and employs 870+ million people) and a blurb on Weyland Industries' next big announcement. Seems that's the whole reason for their current website - celebrating 50 years since the 2023 speech with, among other things, a big new announcement that's in line with what Peter started in 2023.

It's back up.

Very cool. Thanks for posting guys! I've made a mention of this on the front page news. That MODULE B looks interesting. I would imagine its David's finger print. A type of "branding" for the android. OR it could be a chip under the skin that allows him access to various technologies and outlets on the ship.

This is so awsome! It's been almost four years since I first hear there was going to be another Alien movie and that Ridley Scott would be involved, Little bits of new news only coming out every once and a while on a rare occasion and now just so much. I LOVE IT! Can't wait for Module B to be availabe. Hopefully some of those other features like the company timeline and the corporate information unlock when that happens. That mark on the thumbs got to be a brand. Maybe something to do with the presentaion of the first Android or something of that nature.

at the end of the Video game Aliens Vs Predator for the PS3 it is stated that Charles Bishop Weryland has found the co-ordinates for the Xenomorph's Home Planet. At the end of the film AVP Requiem, we meet Mrs. Yutani as she is asked if the Predator GUN they have in a suitcase is for use on this world now, or some other world? The Company has [u][i][b]infintie[/b][/i][/u] directions it can go in.

You shouldn't relate AVP with normal Alien universe, AVP has nothing to do with that, it 's just some idiotic nonsense. I wouldn't even call AVP as a part of the franchise.

good, that puts all that to rest...i thought there would be NO WAY ridley would validate any of it after watching both films again several times. The Alien Universe is Unique indeed.

Thats the thing Sparky, when it comes to AVP, some view it as a travesty, some view it as a separate spin off and others view it as an extension of the two into a bigger whole. Granted as either Alien or Predator films they are both weak, as stand alone films they are so-so, and as part of a bigger franchise the worst films ever, but the trick is to ignore the films, the directing, the acting (if you can call it that) and the approach taken (OMG) and look at the ideas, the context and the beats they offer, thats when it starts to come together, thats when it works, the idea of the bigger franchise. Its just that the two offerings given so far didnt do a very good job of convincing people because somewhere between the idea and the final product something went wrong, and that something was greed. AVP and AVPR were both sanctioned by, amongst others, Brandywine Productions. The same 3 individuals who asked Fincher to make a film with no script but everything else (main cast, sets, release date) having already been set, then when he finished they kicked him out and butchered his work. The same 3 morons who despite being against Alien Rez did nothing to stop it because they knew it would make them money. And the same 3 idiots who took Dan O'Bannons script, change character names added the company conspiracy and tried, in vain, to claim it as there own. The slow fall from grace of the Alien franchise and the ineffective attempt to merge it with the Predator franchise is because of these 3 greedy f**kwits. They have made a fortune at the expense of an idea that wasn't even theirs!
