He is actually digging a large knife into it... I don't know what it is but yes you may be right it's like they stole it from the gods... It looks more like an alien egg thats opened and he's digging around inside of it... I was wondering if this is what they might surgically remove from shaw? or it's found on the exbidition and goes on to do somthing later

Not buying that this is a "little person"....not possible. More likely the foundation for life creation. The monitors behind David look to have a DNA strands or a scan of the material in the vial. Also, its not an egg...!!!!

I think that knife David's pulling on is actually a spindle that you mount little green life forms on for easy placement and retrieval in an Ampule for long term storage.

What knife?!!? He is pulling the "eggs" from the ampule. If you look at the trailer he is pulling them up from the container.

Nice to see this in HD. To me it looks like what doctors of today store sperm/egg/embryo sample in, when using liquid nitrogen for IVF. Its obviously one of the ampules not an egg. The sample seems to sectioned into 4, each looking like a seperate embryo or something. Very interesting.

Well to me it looks like a Gooey Techno Multi Easter Egg Dipper. What I think is interesting is the spiraling constellation on the monitor in the background.

I don't about homo sapien clone babies, but I see what looks like a large spinal structure in the in the center or perhaps the beginnings of a facehugger's tail structure....

Rick, I'm looking at the center of the green mass where it's coming out of the ampule...what I refer to as spinal appears to be on the interior, only visible through the green translucence.

Yeah, the brief trailer shot made it look like he was pulling out some kind of oft-mentioned 'goo' substance...but studying this pic it actually looks like that's a WHOLE 'transparent' creature he's pulling out of the 'ampule'! Check out the short, stubby 'tentacle'-like features where David's hand is... Could this be an actual 'early stage' of something weird?!

I don't know about mini humans, but according to what I've read, Vickers enters the lab at this instance, and accidentally causes David to cut himself, and thus becomes infected. (This occurs before the SJ's remotely weaponize the substance) Causing David to mutate into the human that seeds the primordial Earth.

you present a compelling case here musab in the large pic, i CAN see what appears to be the faint outline of a fetus like shape encased in the green slime, and from what i can tell, what he is pulling that contraption out of, has the rough exterior casing of the urns that were in the urn chamber not saying it's a fetus for certain, i just see what could be one only a bit of the top of the urn can be made out in the HQ pic, if this has already been pointed out on a past thread, my apologies with that theory, perhaps "David" is the metaphorical "Prometheus" in this film, "stealing the fire" (urn) and decoding it's secrets....?

I still think (previous post somewhere) that the green thing is holding onto him as much as he's holding onto it. Also, what if it's a proto egg. The eggs had four lobes that openned up just like this thing does. These lobes look more articulate than the simple petals that open up on top of the eggs though. Maybe the urns hold proto eggs. Maybe the urns (like pottery sherds) don't last as long as the eggs turn out to; the eggs are eventually exposed and toughen up (polarized silicon anyone?) depending on where they've been dropped. 30 years later they look like the eggs we've come to know and love.

good call on that... The Lobes as you put it are the resembling feature to the eggs... i think he has some kind of utensil that you can see David using but like you say whats to say that thing is not holding onto him also... I think this scene could do with the gif treatment as he's pulling it out to examine it further

The little "digits" near David's fingers look like the protrusions from the urns in the room with the head that everyone was talking about a while back.

and just for doing what he is doing...The Engineer's are going to try to punish us all, or at least that's what I think...that "The Company" intercepts the Derelict, which has been deliberately filled up with these things but programmed in advance to turn each of the Bio-Former into a Xenomorph upon arrival on earth...the company intercepts the derelict and what we saw in the trailer is it crashng to LV-426 before ever getting here.
