Just some random stuff. Proteus ( Alien background ) Proteus is Xenomorph Prime, where SJockey contained and bred Xenomorphs ( from the Alien canon ) SJockey has an "elephant" like appearance ? ( Wikipedia excerpts ) Proteus syndrome is the name given to the deforming disease that may have afflicted Joseph Merrick, "The Elephant Man". ( even I think the Elephant references are a bit tenuous, but my mind is drifting though possibilities ) Proteus is associated with alchemy, transformation, shape shifting Prometheus ( Wikipedia excerpts ) His myth has been treated by a number of ancient sources, in which Prometheus is credited with – or blamed for – playing a pivotal role in the early history of mankind. Prometheus and Pandora ( Wikipedia excerpts ) Despite Prometheus' warning, Epimetheus accepted this "gift" from the gods. Pandora carried a jar with her, from which were released "evils, harsh pain and troublesome diseases which give men death". Pandora shut the lid of the jar too late to contain all the evil plights that escaped, but hope remained in the jar.
