Prometheus and Aliens

I know there's been a lot of conversation on here recently about the validity of Aliens and the affect it had on Ridley's vision. After reading through the updated corporate timeline on the Weyland Industries website I noticed this: [i]Transplanetary Peacekeeping As Weyland Industries expands their terraforming activities and colonial endeavors, the company is approached by the US government to begin work on the formation of a colonial peacekeeping force trained or populated by marines in the event of future conflict[/i] To me this would indicate that Ridley is cool with Cameron's take. Personally, I loved Aliens as much as Alien and I'm glad to see them working some of the strands of both into Prometheus. What do you guys think?
