AdminEngineerMar-18-2012 10:13 PMAdding the new trailers to the site recently, I noticed the Fox channel for Prometheus (Prometheus6812) added a rather interesting description to their Full Trailer video.
[i]"In the distant future, two superpowers control Earth and fight each other for all the solar system's natural resources. When one side dispatches a team to a distant planet to terraform it for human colonization, the team discovers an indigenous race of bio-mechanoid killers."[/i]
I'm going to assume the two superpowers are Weyland and Yutani. Quite a lot of spoiler in this description. What are your thoughts?

So the question becomes, is the SJ there because of aiding human evolution, or murder back home? Is it sadistic enough to create a map, hoping it's future victims would figure it out how to find it? They must be really bored.
The other idea may human and SJ are the same species, but we devolved on earth while the SJ stayed the same. At some point one group stayed, and the other went back to conquering the stars.
Anyway...JUNE 8th can't come any sooner.

MemberOvomorphMar-19-2012 8:48 AMIt doesn't make sense for them to leave a map so we then travel to their world for them to kill us. B/c what if we were more advanced than them, they would be screwed. I guess we'll see how it plays out but its still an odd concept though
