Nice find, I also noticed something else as well. In the uk trailer we see our favorite mohawk guy and he's on fire but in the us trailer he's clearly not. United states is too uptight over here so that's why it was different (shakes head) lol

Ridley stated that he would have two versions of the film available, an R rated version as well as a PG-13 version and have the studios decide which version will be released in theaters. I truly honestly pray that these "producers" at FOX do not sensor Sir Ridleys vision of Prometheus. And we as the future audience will watch the full uncut version Bloody and honest :)

I guess they think we would faint if we saw blood or fire and refuse to plunk down money to see it again.

Good eye! I hope this is one of those cases where the trailer is different from the movie. One thing it could also be is that they may want the trailer to show in front of PG movies. For instance, the theater I saw John Carter in, played a trailer for Prometheus right before it showed a trailer for Brave and The Avengers. Only time will tell.

I was thinking the same also. They could just be using the trailer purely as marketing purposes in the US market and release the untampered film as it was meant to be seen.
