I NEED TO DECOMPRESS

since this site was down, i have been keeping my impressions of the brilliantly awesome trailer(s) that have been finally released the past few days with that said, this is what i could deduce from repeated viewings of the trailers the Engineer's citadel is on another planet, not Earth as i had thought from reading some of the leaked scripts there is breathable air inside the Engineer's citadel on that other planet David activates the star map mechanism using a flash light pointed at a specific area in the deck of that circular structure David seems to be in FACT the "Prometheus" type character in this film, he seems to have "stolen"or discovered the bioformer substance and he possibly could want to become more human than human there is a shot of the bioformer slime on (possibly) David's suit glove i feel David is the one who transforms into the giant bald / blue figure we see activating the turret in the Engineer's ships main control chamber Holloway does in fact somehow become infected with something, and he has sex with Shaw, who seems to give a violent birth via the PROMETHEUS' ship's automated medical bay, from the look of the fleshy grey creature that the robotic surgeon chamber's claws are holding above Shaw's tortured body the PROMETHEUS ship does crash into the alien ship i think the words spoken at the beginning of the trailer by Vickers is what she tells David when she confronts him in the hallway, they seem to have a physical altercation, so i'd venture to say that she knows David has developed "feelings" of wanting to remain "king" since he is such an advanced being, only he wants more i think it's the now transformed David that is the tall figure that seems to be hunting / terrorizing Shaw, she seems to be genuinely terrified of that figure, so perhaps David's new modified brain has turned more malevolent then before aside from the brilliance that the official trailer, i got chance to chat with Ridley Scott and Charlize Theron via the live chat that was hosted by AMC Theaters on Saturday afternoon, and what was even better, is that they BOTH answered my questions. to say that i was giddy would be an understatement after watching the Q & A with Scott and Lidelof, Scott said something that struck me a bit, when asked is there was any literal translation to the actual myth of Prometheus in PROMETHEUS the film, it was Lindelof i think who explained most of the myth, but it was Ridley who specified about Prometheus the Titan, who was damned by the Gods to "have his liver eaten repeatedly by an eagle" which instantly brought to mind the exit hole on the space jockey in ALIEN, who had said hole on the side of his torso, where a liver would be located on a human being just something i thought about, since i feel David will become the space jockey, and David was fashioned in the likeness of a human male's physiology, i think that possibly David's "torture" is he births what we now know as the ALIEN in any case, these are just my first impressions, i'm happy to be proven wrong when i finally plant myself in that dark theater this coming June, heart pumping / mouth smiling / eyes open brain hungry for my suspicions to be either debunked - - or validated i could be wrong in my explanation, but i think i could be.....
