"It's changing"

I'm very curious about the changing area of the inner pyramid. Do you think that it turns into or turns from the alien life cycle "mural"? If so, why? Would you agree that the ampules in the pyramid area a kind of species nursery? We can see David smiling down on what looks like baby dinosaurs or baby xeno's or some kind of baby. Maybe each ampule contains an infant of different species in a cryo state. When the ampule is opened it is activated and the baby wakes up. I was thinking that if the SJ had a need to open up an ampule that the "mural" would change into an adult form of the species so as to provide an imprint, so to speak, of what they would identify as their own kind. But then the having the giant human-like head their would kind of defeat that purpose I think. Sorry if this has been discussed before. I've read many threads, but not all of them.
