SJ head separated

If you look at frame 1:28 in the trailer, you will see what looks like the SJ head separated from it's body on the other side of the door in the foreground. Like it didn't make it through the door and it cut off it's head, which the crew take back and examine. What do you think?

I think the SJ form is the enviro suit for this race. They just brought back the head to examine it because it appeared to be dead and no immediate threat. That conjecture may, in fact, be wrong.

Safe? Of course he isn't safe, but he's good!

Yeah, the head is actually a helmet for the 'Scientists' or space jockeys. You can clearly see the space jokey entering his suit in the new trailer which includes the helmet.

I think the whole suit is Bio-Mechanical in that it becomes one with the wearer. The helmet is being scanned, most likely at a molecular level.

It's also curious to see why there is a pile of either dead space jockeys or just a pile of suits.
