Giant Head Is On Derelict!

I was watching the new trailer via hd download, something I totally recommend as the detail is great, and I think I stumbled upon something. I've attached the pics. In the first you can see Vickers watching the crew (represented by yellow triangles with letters over their heads) explore the caves. The map is being built by the floating red balls that are mapping the space (represented by the red balls numbered 1-3). Then we see the full Derelict in the second screen, fully mapped out by the balls. We can see the compartments that make it up. Dead center in plain sight is the BIG HUMANOID HEAD!!! The crew, yellow triangles, can also be seen on the left!!! Anyone remember back when Prometheus was filming, some info leaked that there was a ship piloted by a big human head! I think this is proof! It looks like the head sits above the center room, what may be the Space Jockey room! At the very least, this confirms that the crew does explore the derelict ship! doesnt look like the head to me...plus the crew in Alien would have found it as the place you are highlighting is right by the three tunnels they entered through

Well... for what it's worth, there is this old rumor that made the rounds a while back... "I’ve also had it confirmed that HR Giger is working on the project but only in an advisory capacity. By the way, people are going to be in for a shock when they sit down to watch Prometheus and there’s an enormous semi-human head piloting a spaceship." Fury161 there can be alot of levels on the derelict , alot of rooms and halls ...to me charles is quite right ...

I don't think that's the head. It's either the jockey room or the star map room, which might be one and the same because of the "skylight" at the top of the room. If you look at the huge star map pic that was released a while back you can see the roof and it lines up to the room being in the ship. The giant head is still assumed to be in the pyramid where the ampules are stored and the ship is underground. Look at the ground and the walls. I could be wrong but that's what I see.

Sheesh, that would be really interesting and weird! Weird is good! I will be keeping the head pilot in mind as further research continues!

Okay, here's my theory: "Head/ampule room" = front and center (note the curved structures resembling the "beams" we see there); "Cockpit" = the area right above that (i.e. the "dome"); Egg chamber / cargo hold = the large oval area to the left of center (remember, Kane wasn't necessarily lowered *straight* down - in fact he emerges from the upper *wall* of the egg chamber). So, theoretically, the Nostromo crew could have gone in through the openings, veered right, climbed up to the cockpit, and then Kane lowered down through a conduit that veers *left* of the "ampule" room.

They didn't lower Kane through a traditional portal either. It was not a hole that was designed to be there.

GREAT SCOTT! I forgot about the head piloting the ship! I read that last year and completely forgot! In the AMC interview, Ridley did say that one reason why the "used-future" look was abandoned was because "there's nothing in the trailer that does not fly or speak or move". I have a feeling the head is another character.
