If there is 'God 'in this, then there may be a 'Devil'

I dont think we have actually a God ...but maybe , like the trailer say , just ex kings .... Of course shaw leave thinking to find God , but what they find is pretty clear have nothing in common with any conception of it . And what they find is already evil enough i think .

Or to put it another way, Shaw goes looking for God, only to find that we were in fact made in the devils own image!

If we go to the Sumerian mythology, we can find that Enki, who created us and gave us the knowledge...the fire..., saved us during the global flood, while his brother Enlil tried to exterminate humans and told other gods not to tell the humans about the flood...but Enki did and saved them....maybe he was punished for that like Prometheus, who knows...But i wanna say that there always have been the gods who like humans saved them and fought for them, and others tried to destroy them....here is the devil, the demons...

I think there are many spiritual beeings, angels, archangels, archai, the whole hierarchy.. the devil is rather a beeing named Ahriman and Luzifer is there in addition. Ahriman is a beeing that drives all forces within materialism, up to total materialism in thinking. Generally speaking, it seems like both Scott and Cameron have a thing for robot movies. I think it makes more sense to look at Avatar and Prometheus as such. In these movies, the corporations and scientists are evil, the robots are evil, and the military is evil. Most of what is going on is evil, with the good guys as underdogs. I expect Prometheus to follow this theme, maybe more so than any of their other movies. Then Cameron will have to up his game on Avatar 2 so it is more evil than Prometheus. It is a contest where the fans always win.

We can't forget that in most creation myths the "good" god and the "bad" god are always brothers, usually fighting in the womb and then continuing once they are born. I like to go even further and think of it as God fighting itself. Maybe Shaw and Co find out that God and Devil are one, like one big nasty Norman Bates. "If there is a God, he must be insane."
