MemberOvomorphMar-27-2012 4:08 PMI live in a small, boring, quite conservative town.
Translation: If I camp out for a movie, it probably guarantees at least that I will be called a village idiot, and at worst spend the night in jail.
I'll make the midnight sneak peek, but that's as far as I'll go for a movie...

MemberOvomorphMar-27-2012 4:21 PMNo, because I figure the Midnight showing if there even is one is not gonna sell out.
I think the movie is going to do poorly in North America no matter the rating. Internationally it will fare much better. I just don't think this is the right kinda film to take north american audiences by storm. I hope i am wrong on that.

MemberOvomorphMar-27-2012 4:41 PMDon't think I've ever anticipated a film as highly as this one!
Will definitely be attending the midnight showing in my city

MemberOvomorphMar-27-2012 6:28 PMNever understood camping out, but it seems a cultural phenomenon. I remember last Thanksgiving needing to go grocery shopping and seeing the line outside Best Buy. It seemed really sad to spent all Thanksgiving and that night camping outside an electronics store.
I'm use Apple almost exclusively BTW, and I have no idea what at crack was about.

MemberOvomorphMar-27-2012 7:31 PMNot going to see the midnite show, I'm seeing the Friday night it opens. Honestly, if I had to camp to see it the opening Friday I'm gonna say HELL YEAH!! For the record I've NEVER camped overnight for ANYTHING. I'm just so amped for this movie I just gotta see it. I don't think I'm gonna need to camp though cause where I'm seeing it (Arclight theater) they have reserved seating. I just have to stay on top of checking the website for when the tickets become available.

MemberOvomorphMar-27-2012 7:38 PMI have a final that night, and we don't get out until 9. But after I get out I'm driving to my local theater or 30 miles away to IMAX for the midnight showing. I'm gonna see it in 3D either way. Nobody I know wants to go with.

MemberOvomorphMar-27-2012 9:04 PMPlanning on seeing the Real3D showing at Midnight. Real3D beats IMAX 3D imo. Saw Avatar in both formats and Real3D was a much better experience. What do you guys think?
