...no not realy but... It was realy hard to find that "start a new topic"-button. Anyway... I was just watching the "Ridley&Damon"-intervju... and one thing got me thinking. The Prometheus story tells about, "a greek that get the liver plucked out every once awhile". So I started to think about how that might be visioned in the movie... Then it came to me... In Alien you have this space Jockey with a hole in it... and you have lots of eggs... What if the space jockey.. regenerate "The host" and give birth to many Aliens, over and over again...? (Picture experience the pain Kain felt over and over, but be alive...) And when they don't find food or a host themself thay turned into one of the eggs you see in alien... (as Scott intended for the first Alien... it was tired and dieing/turning to an egg... that's why it was extra slimey in the ending. Also the turning of the victims into eggs, in the Dir Cut...)

D-13, This has been mentioned before, however, I like how we're all coming to the same conclusions. Keep thinking and keep pushing ideas.

@D-13: yeah, i mentioned this on another thread a while back, as soon as Ridley described the "liver being eaten" the image of the hole placement in the fossilized space jockey popped into my mind glad i am not alone in that mindset

Actually this would also go towards explaining why the "c-section" goes across Shaw's stomach sideways, and not anywhere near where a baby comes out. :/
