MemberOvomorphMar-30-2012 6:00 PMYes, I definitely think this is the case. I also think this is the same creature that is extracted from Shaw's belly.

MemberDeaconMar-30-2012 6:33 PMThe one from Shaws body looks like a Squid you can see it has 3 to 4 tenticles and looks a bit Squidy or Octopus like.
Also chances are hers is via get made pregnant by Holloway infected with Alien DNA.
I assume that the creature we see get inside one of the crews torn space suits will be Fifield which means the Organism grows in him but changes his DNA and mutates him.
Holloway is seen spotting something in his eye, so some kind of other way he gets infected.

MemberOvomorphMar-30-2012 6:33 PMCan't argue with this, the xeno forerunner seem to share this eel like appearence from the trailer. I suspect that there will be some from of mechanical 'inteference' required in order to make the xeno we all know and love.

MemberDeaconMar-30-2012 6:37 PMAlso this is not the only image that looks like a Eel well others that look like the tail and body of one. Only cant post because well they a bit rude looking if you know what i mean ;)
If you seen some of HR Gigers work you would know what i mean, one of his work shows the Cycle of the Alien it has Space Jockey, Egg, Face Hugger from Egg onto Space Jockey then Space Jockey Chest Burster.
Now one Giger image well lets say shows Eel like thing and Female in a image cant be shown here and she seems to then be changing.
Maybe this is influence? showing Organism or person infected with such impregnates Shaw via the Natural Human way ;)

MemberDeaconMar-30-2012 6:42 PMMaybe we have to look at it as fast pased Evolution like in Nature.
But a Evolution where a Species Evolves over One Generation at a Time?
Alien Eel, to the part grown Squid pulled from Shaw, maybe whats going on is the Squid Tenticles are what could Evolve to Legs and Arms.
If we take this image above as the Orignal Organism (it may not be) the Alien some how adapted based on its Host..
So in this theory a Orginal Eel Alien with no Legs that Hosts a Human would go to take some Human Traits and thus Grow Legs. We would assume that had in Alien Franchise a Face Hugger inplanted a Eagle we would see a Small Alien with only 2 legs but wings?

MemberOvomorphMar-30-2012 7:36 PMThis wouldn't surprise me, the xenomorph was actually heavily influenced by and the design credits go to Geiger. He probably would continue to use his artwork as inspiration for this movie as well.

MemberOvomorphMar-31-2012 3:30 AMI find this Giger eel form together with the human skull under the
cranium of the Alien to have fascinating, horrific and definite links.
How do these separate aspects come together?
I hope this is the case. Something slithering, metallic and insidious
will be much more appealing than a 'bug'.
