I don't think the face has changed. The lower lip looks like teeth only because of the way it is being hit by light. The eyes are also just as open as they had been in other shots. In terms of the other find, very interesting. I'm willing to bet the temples are a docking station. The alien ship could land itself around it and lock into place or something.

What I find interesting about these pictures are the markings on the face of the head (what do they mean?), and the landed escape pod in the lower right corner of the second picture. Janek has crashed the Prometheus into the Derelict (suicide mission), and Vickers has escaped in the pod, to join Shaw already on the ground.

Another thing: Has anyone looked at 0:50 in this trailer (approx) and seen a guy on the left shooting a gun, and the person on the right stunned at the Alien thingy jumping at them??! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCtvg6rUWyw&feature=relmfu Sorry if this is old news.
