I wonder why O`Bannon and Shusset werent asked to do the script.........perhaps they were and declined. Giger told me that he wasnt asked to do the design for anything in Prometheus.

O'bannan is dead and giger did do some design.....or at least they used some of his designs and a mural.

If so, Ridley has mentioned that Giger is involved and was working on "[i]A[/i]" project for the film... this contradicts the info you've been given.

@ draekus Just to 2nd you, I've seen an interview where Scott says pretty much the same thing? Apparently he spoke to Giger during development about what was planned/already being done, Giger very much liked the ideas and then was brought in by Scott, to do "murals and some other stuff"...

Of which, when prompted, Giger described as 'very grauslich'.
