Homemade 1/1 scale alien statue

Here is my Alien statue I've recently been working on. The frame is made from galvanized tubing and was later rapped in masking tape after done welding. Once the frame armature was created, I cut out a cross-section shape of the aliens head out of cardboard and added it to the frame. Once that was secured I sprayed expanding foam on the cardboard until it reached the desired thickness. Next I took a knife and sculpted the basic shape of the dome and painted it with the only paint I had at the moment which happened to be pink, lol. Then I took dry wall mud and covered the entire head and waited for it to dry. The next day I sanded it down and filed away at it until it was nice and smooth. More updates to come!
