@craigsmore or anyone for that matter,
Something is not right. When we see the Prometheus climbing to meet the derelict ship at ramming speed, we see what I presume is the escape boat ejecting out the side of it which I presume Vickers is on. On the model above the lifeboat is on top of the ship and much bigger. We also see that lifeboat that has landed in one pic and off in the distance in the sky the explosion from the collision with prometheus and derelict but next we see the derelict ship with rapace and vickers running from it rolling so how did they make it in that small time frame several miles away from the landed escape boat and end up under the derelict and falling debri? Beam over? lol There must be two different events that happen after the initial ramming explosion or there are two derelict ships. Shilliam Watner is seeking answers!!!

i think , This event in the movie is a Big Part,,, with alot sh%t going down
this part ,,,, every man for himself and we will see bunch of small ships going all over
who knows ........ can`t wait

I noticed that too. The trailer shot is from the bridge, which sits below the larger rounded heatshield section above it at the prow of the ship. In addition to the object, you can also see little bits and pieces, which could be from explosive bolts..........but how could you possibly see that, if the escape module is located at the stern end?

Shilliam Watner....For one, we're probably looking at one life boat among several on this state of the art vessel...
..not to mention the shot of Vickers getting into pod in the middle of a row of them.....

..And those side arms from which the engines produce thrust obviously rotate based on the imagery we have so far....

The one on top is probably mirrored with one or more on the bottom...

Also, as to the proximity of the landing to the crash zone is unkowable , but not unreasonable...the lifeboat does seem to follow the Prometheus after it breaks off....

who knows...

@craigamore
There is one more pic from the last trailer I believe or teaser to the teaser trailer that shows the derelict up in the sky way off in the distance at the time of the explosion. If you look closely that life boat has already landed and you can see its navigation lights on and it is close to the camera and the derelict explosion is about a mile or 2 miles off. If you could find that pic it and post it it would explain what I am talking about.

Here you go...

@craigamore
That's it. Thanks. Now as I was trying to explain. How do Vickers and Rapace wind up under the rolling ship and falling debris from the Prometheus? We can see it is a pretty good distance away from them as the explosion indicates in the pic you posted.

You know what...I would just say that the dynamics of that scene are something we are just going to have to wait for...

In another thread, I also wondered about that, Shilliam. The only explanation to me is that after the crash the derelict is still operational but very damaged, and try to come back to it´s hangar, but crashes short of it _ just over Shaw and Vickers heads. I´m curious to see what happens after that because this sounds pretty endgame _ the Prometheus destroyed, it´s crew probably very dead, and the derelict becoming, you know, a derelict. I mean, there seems to be not much to tell after that, and still I think Prometheus will end in a much more interesting way.
