just to put what I see into perspective, it would be cool if someone more artistically gifted than me would have a go at trying to figure out what exactly the sj is removing from the water. I know its been spoken about before but everyone failed to recognise the sjs fingers in the foreground and the ripples in the water. any thoughts?

that is mint! Maybe you could do another with the sj hand in foreground like mine.
awsome work mate!

Maybe its one of these things?

It's mystifying and a little scary isn't it? Like those graphics a lot,
but I thought those 'fingers' were the creature's knees? Water?
Mmm, could be......

@DJAB nice thread, very interesting indeed and @NightRiderLoveProvider great job, but like two mummies, however it looks very cool and clear.

Here is what my idea is based on
Sizing is wrong points should read "cracks in ceiling".
"Ripples in water"
"Point of entry into water"
"finger"
"finger(nail Visible)"
"projectors"
"Finger"
I think It is the story of the origins of man being projected onto a flat ceiling with cracks in it and the image being projected is that of an SJ removing something from water (our viewpoint is from the bottom of a lake/river/pond etc.)
I cant wait to watch this movie, mostly because I've invested a lot of thought in trying to solve some of the mysteries and want to prove myself right lol

The problem I have with the idea of the creatures knees being the humanoids fingers is that the colour doesnt match the humanoid. Even though I think Im the first one to point out that they may be knees and showing it in my red outline in another thread, Im not entirely sure that they actually are knees.... but I think whatever they are, they are a part of the creature, not the humanoid figure itself.

It all exactly the same colour, Shaw is shining a torch into the centre of the image so there's a difference in the shades.
I don't understand how nobody can see the humanoid hand in the foreground. If you look at how tiny his left arm/hand is it gives you an idea of the depth of field in the picture and you will understand why the fingers on the right hand are so big in the foreground.
Please.....somebody agree with me. I'm not crazy! lol

@Djab ...
Well that 'hand' is an interesting observation ... let's see ...
What if the SJ is PUTTING some form of 'species' (as in US) INTO the water as opposed to taking it out? ... think - OUR own waters, back on Earth? ... the way our life supposed to have started out? ... did we not originate from the water? ... which way are we going with our evolution anyway? ... thought provoking though ... I could buy that to some degree ...

@ DJAB - One thing I do know is that its definitely not the same colour. I know there is a light source shining on the image but that is not affecting the colour. You can clearly see the creature and humanoid are different colours. The creature is darker. For example - examine the colour of the humanoids right leg and the creature that is right next to....different colour.
Also, I know all about perspective because Im an artist myself, but the hand just seems a bit too big IMO.
Cant wait to finally find out what it is! Maybe it isnt even a creature at all lol

@Gem yeah I agree I've mentioned in another thread that it may be pulling us from our primordial soup so as to speak. But also I think the water has a relevance because the original xenomorph was based on sea life at the depths of the ocean.
@Freeze It just looks too much like a finger with nail for me to believe its anything else. But yeah I cant wait to see this either, If I'm right about the hand I will be straight back on here to brag about about it, and if I'm wrong I will be avoiding you LOL
April 14, 2012
@ DJAB - LOL Yeah, same here my friend! I wont mind being wrong though.
I can definitely see how you think it looks like a hand but Im sticking with it being his knees lol
The picture is kinda hard to make out, afterall.

I suppose we won't know for sure until it's finished animating? ... I presume it's moving like the other Murals? ... so maybe the final shot will explain it all ... hopefully ...

"But also I think the water has a relevance because the original xenomorph was based on sea life at the depths of the ocean."
Never heard of it. References?

Well what if that Mural eventrually turns into the Xeno Mural?
Maybe its showing how the Gods/Jockeys created life on Earth?
Maybe its not the Jockey but Holloway and shows what leads from Holloway touching something and then transforms into the Xeno?
I guess we will find out when we go see the movie.
