I saw the Prometheus trailer tonight before Cabin In The Woods. BEST TRAILER I HAVE EVER SEEN IN A CINEMA, you don't realise how fully Next it is till you see next to the usual crap. Anyway. SPOILER AHEAD so if you plan on watching CABIN IN THE WOODS unspoilered - which I did, I literally knew NOTHING about it and I am glad - DO NOT READ AHEAD... It's got a facehugger in it. Not just ANY facehugger, but what looked exactly like Giger's first design, ie the big fucker. Also pretty sure I saw a Xeno, and they did a few very specific and direct (and awesome) Alien nods towards the end. So, yeah, fully recommended for those waiting with bated breath for Prometheus - a clever and funny and fist-punch-the-air joyous cinematic horror... with a big fuck-off facehugger in it. Amen.

Saw it last night :) Where was the facehugger? I didn't see a xeno but I caught loads of the other inside references to various horror/sci-fi franchises (loved the nod to Hellraiser, heh). And I was totally caught off guard at the very end by the cameo appearance of... a certain actress :) I was like "Whoa, what the hell is she doing in this???" Good stuff.

Ooh yeah, I saw it also.... The whole movie is one big homage to ever horror film ever, especially 'Alien' and the cameo from "you-know-who" at the end....

Yeah, I saw Cabin in the Woods too. Didn't notice the facehugger (if there was one), but the film was really great. And yes.. 'The Director'! I was pretty much surprised, when I saw her.

I went to see that movie on Friday 13th as a few of us planned months ago to book a Cabin in a Woods on Firday 13th near a lake. But it was double booked, and the others was a bit pricey. So we never planned nothing then weeks latter when we saw the adverts for this movie we thought what a coinsidence a movie about a Cabin in the Woods that premiers on Friday the 13th.... I saw no Xenos in that movie, i never got to see a Prometheus Trailer either.... SPOILER The movie to me was Saw, Meets Final Destination, Meets Hills have Eyes, Meets Big Brother and for me i found the movie was a bit pants to be fair, each to their own. We only went to see it because we was actually going to book a Cabin in Woods on Friday 13th.

CITW was a GREAT film! Good to see a fresh take on the horror/Sc-fi genre. Definitely looking forward to getting it on Blue-Ray. SPOILER: I must have missed the facehugger and Xeno...There is so much going on on the screen when you see all the "monsters".
