You saw the tweets last week by Spaihts yesterday, right?

dopelganger... I think...I HOPE the OP is referring in a tongue-in-cheek manner to the smoke monster from 'Lost' of which Damon Lindelof was a principal writer and producer... Lindelof co-wrote 'Prometheus' and this guy makes a joke about the smoke monster.....

"Smoke monster?"......... instantly makes me think of Michael Mann's "The Keep." .....think maybe I've seen one too many.

I have actually noticed the similarities between the xenomorph "dna", the black oil from Xfiles, and the smoke monster from Lost. They are all parasitic. They are all "Absence of light". They take on the traits of its host, physically. They are all telepathic. They all seek to "destroy", mostly through deception, with no postive emotions. ( they only seem to exhibit rage,fear, control/killing.
