June 6th?

Sorry guys, but if Prometheus comes out June 6th, I won't be there. I'll be watching this: http://earthsky.org/astronomy-essentials/last-transit-of-venus-in-21st-century-will-happen-in-june-2012 Any indication in the trailers that the release date coinciding with this rare event has any bearing on anything in the movie? I'm not going to hop on the "RS is a genius" bandwagon and just assume he has a plan for this. But he is rather smart. Someone with more time on their hands want to research it?
