April 19, 2012Well it looks like a Face Hugger more than a Chest Burster but it is growing inside like a Chest Burster.
In this movie the Organisms Cycle is different, it would apear that the Worm Like Creature that could look a little like Chest Bursters perform a purpose simular to the Face Hugger.
This Organism i beleave occurs as the Organism/Bio Forming supstance etc re-writes its hosts DNA. And thus changes them into a Hybrid. Now a infected persons DNA but in early stage of transformation could pass on some of the Alien DNA onto a Human Embryo during sex, a Human Embryo in its early stage is near enough the same as a Dogs, Cats, Birds, Wale and near enough every Mamal on Earth.
A Embryo at a Early stage does not have much DNA in it that forms Human DNA and thus a Alien DNA that re-writes its hosts DNA does not have much DNA to change and thus we get a more Pure Form Hybrid Organism.
The Orginal Alien Script described the Face Hugger as Octopus like and thus more like Shaws Squid only it does not plant a Embryo that grows inside them like the Face Hugger did. Instead the orginal idea was that the Organism re-writes the Hosts DNA/Genes.
Ridley would have felt that having Octopus Organisms that grab onto peoples faces to start the process of its productive cylce would be much too close to the Face Hugger and Alien.
I then think he wanted to create the Orginal Scripts Octopus but have it as a Hybrid thats created by a certain number of events, maybe this would become the Proto Xeno? Or a new Organism that can lead to a new Franchise.
I think he has thus gone with the Worm like Organisms to forfill the purpose of how the Orginal Scripts Octopus effected its host... Thus Worm Thingys change its hosts DNA.
Thats just my take and i could be completely way off.
