Pandora's box

Yes, Pandora is Zeus' revenge on man for Prometheus granting us fire. It is a funny myth, punish us by giving us women.

I used to know a Girl called Pandora.... Never got to see her box though.... LOL....

The punishment was to give us women? thrn i love punishments lol.

I feel much the same way, but Vickers could easily represent Pandora too. Both of them sort of lead the crew to Pandora's box/ the ampules. What's interesting is that Pandora unleashes disease and monstrosities from the box that Zeus told Epimetheus to create.

In another version of the Prometheus myth, Pandora is Prometheus's creation (in this one he created humans as well giving them fire) and he warns her in all sincerity not to open the box before he becomes bird food.

The Greek Mythology seems integral to the Prometheus movie.....so who IS pandora, prometheus, zeus and hercules?
