Alien counterpart to Weylan?

Does this sound credible? The giant alien is the counterpart of Peter Weyland. The Alien/Space Jockey (s) are doing exactly the same as the Weylan-Yutani corporation did in previous movies: Building better worlds. Once they tried it on LV-426, and in Ptometheus they are trying it on LV-223. Albeit in a more biological way. Through parasites. Mies.

Hey Mies can you elaborate a bit more? If you mean they're trying to terraform planets I think they are probably past that point. I think they are making biology suitable for that planet. That would be the real trick

What is the connection with these parasite things and the opening sequence with the infested "king" evidently here on Earth with some ship overhead (near the waterfall). Do these parasite upgrade humanity to the next level with us needing regular booster shots like we do with our immunization shots but obviously a once every so many thousands of years thing?

I'm not sure 'cause I have been permanently hypnotized by your beautiful avatar...I think maybe the same thing happening to the crew of Prometheus happened first to him and his race and they tried to warn us but we paid no attention or misinterpreted their warning somehow, but your avatar is buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzziiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggg with... ......oooooooonnnnnnnddddddeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrfffffffffuuuuuulllllllllllllllllllllllllll...colorsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

i think the king line is probably from later on in the movie, possibly referring to the engineers not being immortal. I think the veiny guy at the start of the film is way back in our past and he has been infected with one of the worms and the spaceship is just watching to make sure it "takes" to him. By the time we have evolved into getting to the planet they have found ways to speed up this process considerably. Just a thought.

The head is so much more than we realize. I'm pretty sure the big reveal will be that when the ship takes off, the head rises up out of the ground and we see that it is attached to an undersized body by a large spring and it bobbles as the ship flies.
